REBECCAAAAAA REBECCCAAAA WHYYYYY

This book was so... I CANNOT. The ending!? Unfathomable.

The whole story line was straight into it from start to finish. I loved the fighting, the squad being close, Violet and her siblings together. Violet and Xaden. All of it. I have no words for how quickly I consumed this book.

We follow the story of Mara and Cole. Two artists in San Francisco. Cole has a rivalry with another artists named Alastor Shaw. Shaw notices Cole's slight interest in Mara and decides to
deliver her to Cole as a gift.
However, Cole did not accept and Mara, through sheer stubbornness, survives her bloody evening with Shaw. From there, Cole finds her and they create a toxic mentorship/relationship with one another.

In the world of murder, artistry, and revenge, Cole and Mara choose each other.

I enjoyed the story! Very very interesting and I can't wait for it to develop more in the next book.

There are so many quotes and scenes in this book that had me full on sobbing into my fiancé's shoulder. This book has given me hope, and yet has shattered me so many times. This story is top tier. I think about this series so much. Kaladin, Navani, Dalinar, Adolin, Lift, Teft, and Shallan - they are all so memorable and I live for them!

Jonny Appleseed - a native american man who has many heartbreaking stories. We follow him as he goes through life as a s/ex worker and tries to save money to return back to the reservation to go to his step-dad's funeral. Jonny reflects on stories of grief, love, heartache, and how he powered through each part of his life.

Mai Corland did it again. I was so in love with the first book and needed the second immediately. Now that I have devoured the second... I have so many questions.

Euyn...
they could never make me hate you. He was so troubled but he ALWAYS tried, at least a little to be good and it ABSOLUTELY SHATTERED ME WHEN MIKAIL SAID "I'll meet you in the garden again" BECAUSE NOO NO NO MY SHAYLAAAAAAA

I loved Royo and Aeri growing closer and falling for each other.

I appreciated Tiyoung's pop ins from prison here and there.

But Mikail and Sora have been my absolute fav friendship in this book series. Sora... my SWEET SWEET GIRL.
I hope Mikail tells her about what happened to her sister in the next book because my heart hurt when it was told that she died.

Mai... you beautiful hctib... I NEED THE THIRD BOOK NEOOOOOWWWWWW!!!

Who doesn't want to read about
nasty, sexy, mean, bullying dark militaryagents??
Probably a lot of people but I ate this up like I was STARVING. I enjoyed the plot, the quickness of the story, the cast of characters, and
i was so happy when Bradshaw came back for Nellie.
I was also lowkey flabbergasted by the
love triangles between Nellie and Jenkins and Nellie and Bradshaw
but honestly.... I loved it too. This story was dark, dirty, and had some nice flavor to it.

Did not finish book. Stopped at 53%.
This has been such a strange book. Maybe I needed to focus harder, pay much more attention to the poeticism in the writing, but it just felt like a fever dream to me 😭😭😭

I love the
fake dating turns into real dating trope.

This was such a cute story of growth, discovery, and being accepted and loved for who you are. Was such a cute little read! 💖
