This was not what I expected at all but in the best way! I loved seeing how he wasn’t really that into acting and it just kind of happened.
I loved hearing his experience as opposed to the experience of what other child actors have experienced. It was enlightening and endearing. I loved getting then perspective of an actor dealing with people who loved or hated a parted they played.
If you are a fan of Tom Felton this is a worth while read.

I get why there are so many people that love this book but it wasn’t for me. It was very slow and just felt too long. I didn’t get much from the reading experience the end.

This was a different read but in a good way. I enjoyed the way the book was written. I like that we don’t fully know what is going on and are left with more question than answers. I want to read book 2 to see where the story goes.

First off, I love Ali Hazelwood. With that said, this was a slow start for me. I was honestly a bit confused at times when the book first started. I’m not sure if it was due to how the POV was written or how the chapters flowed. I didn’t feel like Vandy and Lukas had a lot of chemistry. I didn’t like how the relationship was ‘proposed’. It just felt weird.
A few things that drove me crazy:
1) The fact that Vandy/Scarlet cried ALL of the time. And for no apparent reason at some points.
2) why was it pointed out that Lukas was leaning on doors so much…? Do we care that much?
It picked up a bit after page 100. I wound up enjoying how it ended.

Sooooooooo good!!! This was my most anticipated release of 2024 and I finally got around to reading it. Zetian is even more badass in this book than she is in book one.
I loved seeing how the government changed and watching how the people reacted to the changes. Zetian fought for the changes she wanted to see and got things actually changed!
I thought this was suppose to be a duology but we are for sure getting another book! I need it now!!!

I thought this was a reread until I actually started to read it. I didn’t realize that I never actually finished this trilogy but wow what an ending!!!
The characters were continuously fantastic and the plot just kept getting better. The way everything came together at this end was flawless.

This is a fantastic sequel to The Handmaid's Tale. This has multiple POV's and the characters start talking about their own story and then you see how the POV's become connected by the end of the book. I loved the ending because it was finished with a historical lecture and it ended the story so well.
