This was super enjoyable to read - had great atmosphere, tension and drama. The characters were well developed and their personalities added a lot to the story and heightened the emotion.
Some parts of it dragged a little but overall, I was intrigued and felt my heart race at certain points of the story.

Did not finish book. Stopped at 7%.
Just not in the mood for this right now! It didn’t immediately grip me - I think I was expecting it too because I love the second book so much.

I’ve been meaning to read this book for years since I became a fan of Gorillaz as a child, and i’m glad I finally got round to it.
It was a really interesting mix of fiction and non-fiction - perfectly suited for the Gorillaz.
The band has super interesting lore and each of the four members has lived a crazy life. I love learning their stories whilst also learning about the real impact they had on the music world, the creative processes behind the band and their achievements.

At first, I was a little unsure about this book. I couldn’t quite find it in myself to feel invested.

However, once the characters started to really develop and flesh out, I found myself feeling more strong connected with them and more involved with the story.
Shireen and Chris really grew on me and I felt really fond towards them both by the end.
Niamh was a whole other story, of course. I didn’t trust her from the start.

Overall, this book was pretty enjoyable and entertaining to read. I hadn’t read anything revolving around a reality television show before, so the plot was quite refreshing for me. And I definitely enjoyed picturing all the desserts that were being baked throughout.

I love Astrid and Jordan so much and I’m so happy they were both able to take control of their lives and move themselves in the directions they wanted.

This book was so incredible and so enjoyable to read. Really kept my attention captured with its mystery and it’s subtle romance. Hyeon and Eojin were both really great characters <3
