I really liked this- made me tear up at the end. Joan’s version of god and view of the universe is so good. Joan and Vanessa are so good together and I just loved to read about them.
This was good and depressing. I liked the fast pace and the like learning more about haymitch. Her creativity with the arenas is impressive.
It was interesting. I liked learned about different countries milk preferences and the differences between different animal milk. Will I retain any of this lol no.
I was honestly surprised by how much I liked it? I really liked the rapport that characters had. And the way she framed the age gap and put it in perspective kind of worked.
I will be honest I kind of thought parts were boring. I liked how easy of a read it was. Also an interesting focus and plot. I think I liked the last chapter the best.
That was so good. I loved the listing and how descriptive it was. Also it’s so impressive that she was able to describe earth so many times but each time I was interested and it was like different. I also liked the slim bits of information we would get about the people in orbit. Just so good, really nice to listen to.
It was solid I was entertained. It was very like religious kind of but I liked reading about her surviving on the island and her making her way back home.
I liked the story in a story that was very cool also the reveals at the end were so good! I also liked the last chapter ending it like gave it a nice bow ending which is a good feeling.
This book was confusing at times well at a lot of times but also kind of good. I really liked the last couple chapters. I liked how she talked about how the dampness changed all of England. I liked seeing the different centuries described. I also liked the narrator who was like writing the biography. Other quotes I liked: “illusions are to the soul what atmosphere is to the earth. Roll up that tender air and the plant dies.”
“ the darkness was complete. A turbulent welter of cloud covered the city. All was dark, all was doubt, all was confusion. The eighteenth century was over; the nineteenth century had begun”

Really fun cool world and interesting characters. Good romance love when people can communicate telepathically.
