Absolute Favourite!!

I loved this book even more than book 1 and the story was amazing. Following Lyrik and Rogue POVs, allegiance between terrioties, wars. Oh, the Angst!!! It really played with my emotions. The last couple of chapters had me in tears and my mind went blank!! I'm looking forward to Lyrik's book very much! That women was a force to be beckon with. The plot twists came from nowhere and left me 'wtf'? I loved all the characters and banters and my, what a spice!

Darkly twisted story!

This was my first time reading a twisted tales and Idk what to say but twisted? Yes. Though the story has twists & turns, suspense, mystery and thrilling.
Check TWs before reading.

Thank you Samantha for giving me an opportunity to beta and arc read this book.

Spoiler free review!

I loved the way how perfectly the author balanced suspense, mystery and hate to love romance. The world building was rich and deliciously sensual. The development of the characters was amazing not rushed, not slowed. It's plot driven since both MCs working in forced proximity to find a culprit who murdered the King. I loved how slowly changes from sworn enemies to friends to lovers. Witty banters. Fast paced with dual pov filled with actions, dark secrets/ magics, curse, angst, emotional ride.

Plot twist and turns left my jaw on the floor which I never saw coming and it was a wonder I didn't throw my Kindle after the cliffhanger. I can't wait to know what'd happen in book 2.

Sweetest Story I've ever read!

Reading a romantic comedy for the first time was a delightful experience, and I thoroughly enjoyed it. Theo and Catalina make the cutest couple I've ever seen, and they are perfect for each other. Both characters are intelligent, humorous, and competitive, which made the story even more engaging. From the first page to the end, I was hooked. The story also includes references to the TV show Friends, such as the yellow painted frame on the door and lobsters. Théo's family is loving and adoring towards Cate, and her friends are reminiscent of Monica and Joey, bickering like an old couple. The story features fake dating, a handsome chef as the male lead, a fierce flight attendant as the female lead, a lovable found family and friends, jesters, longing and angst, strangers to lovers, and takes place in Hawaii. The story is filled with plenty of witty banter and is an overall cute and enjoyable read.

I received eARC in exchange of honest review!

This fantasy romance is an epic adventure filled with action, adventure, and a hate to love romance. The author has created a rich and immersive world, filled with hidden identities, secrets, and a prophecy that will change everything. The characters are complex and multi-dimensional, with each one bringing their own unique perspective to the story.

The enemies to lovers romance between Evanthe and Aero is slow and engaging. The witty banters between them are both entertaining and endearing.

The journey Aero and Evanthe embark on is filled with danger and new challenge bringing them closer together. The inclusion of humans, faes, and vampires adds an extra layer of intrigue to the story.

The story picks up like 60% in and where Aero and Evanthe finds out who they are and with the fate of the world resting on the shoulders on them. The curses and prophecies that are woven throughout the story filled with mystery, keeping me guessing until the very end.

Overall, this fantasy romance is a must-read for anyone who loves a good adventure with a hate to love romance.

Raya embarks on a quest to find her missing sister Cora, accompanied by her best friend Alex, to the town of Red Thorne where rumors suggest supernatural beings reside. While on the brink of death, Raya is saved by a vampire, resulting in an accidental bond that forever links them and makes Raya the only source of sustenance for the Hunter. Despite their differences, they are forced to work together in close proximity to search for Raya's sister.

The story is shrouded in suspense and mystery. Hunter, a grumpy and unique vampire, possesses a strong moral compass due to being turned against his will. He respects the choices of others, even when they are not given to him. Raya, on the other hand, is a strong-willed and stubborn character who is determined to find her sister at any cost.

The bond between Hunter and Raya is intense, heightening their senses and bringing them closer together. The slow-burn romance between them is amazing, with spicy moments that are scorching hot! The plot is filled with unexpected twists and turns, with allies turning into enemies and some incredible action scenes.

I am eagerly looking forward to reading about the couple in the next book, as it is my most anticipated read!

The story shortly after the events in Fire and Steel, and let me tell you, the angst and yearning completely shattered me. The growth of Emara as she embraced her true self was truly awe-inspiring. The development of the characters was skillfully portrayed, their emotions so authentic that I couldn't help but experience both tears and laughter alongside them. Emara is a regal figure who fearlessly vocalizes her determination to bring about change for women everywhere, going to great lengths to make it a reality.

The romance portrayed in this story is absolutely exceptional; Torin's unwavering love for Emara knows no bounds as he steadfastly opposes anyone attempting to separate them. I found myself utterly captivated by their affectionate moments. Torin with his tender words, gentle touch - everything about him just made me swoon! He worshipped Emara like she was a goddess!

Artem and Breighly are an angsty couple that perfectly complements one another. Their connection ignited like an inferno; there was an undeniable intensity between them that kept me hooked throughout. Artem had this remarkable ability to turn serious situations into comedic ones effortlessly while Breighly embodied strength and sassiness like no other.

True to Noelle's signature style, the ending hit hard with its cruelty and brutality - it left me in tears yet again! I'm desperately longing for book 4 so I can find out what fate has in store for my cherished characters once more. It feels incredibly unfair not knowing how things will unfold for them...

If you have not yet read An Empress of Air and Chaos series, why are you hesitating? This SERIES is a revelation that you never knew you needed!

I was excited to read this book because it was my one of anticipated release and with disappointment, I say that its not working for me even though there was some humours and grumpy/sunshine trope. Maybe it was my fault that I wasn't enjoying much and would probably pick it up again later.

This book was my first read of the author and thanks to my friend Bee for urging me to read it and for putting up with my reactions.

Valerie's sole desire was to seek retribution for her father's murder and to exact revenge on those who had made her life unbearable since his death. She was determined to kill Nicolai, so she ventured to his casino and attempted to pull the trigger before him. Unfortunately, her aim was off, resulting in dire consequences.

Nicolai presented her with an ultimatum: spend a year with him, and he would train her in the art of revenge, enabling her to kill his father for ordering to kill her father. Alternatively, if she declined, Nic would end her life immediately. Knowing she was striking a deal with the devil, Valerie reluctantly agreed to spend a year under his thumb.

Little did she realize that by accepting this proposition, she had also consented to fulfill any and all of his demands, at any time of day, whether they involved brutal lessons or moments of pleasure. Valerie endeavored not to shatter any further than she already had. She encountered Nic's brother, Leo, who did his best to care for and shield her from Nic's harsh teachings and punishments.

I have never read a story quite like this before, and it was exceptionally well-written. The dynamic between the Colombo brothers created an intense tension that Valerie couldn't ignore. Nic's teachings blend punishment and pleasure, causing Valerie to develop strong feelings of desire and need. Nic embodies the essence of a devil, exerting control and dominance, while Leo is portrayed as an angel who truly understands Valerie and takes care of her.

The unexpected plot twists that unfolded in the final chapters caught me completely off guard, leaving me with a feeling of disbelief. I found great satisfaction in the plot, as it revolved around a girl seeking vengeance for her father's murder. She never anticipated the unforeseen events that would transpire, forcing her to confront her life choices and struggles.

I am eagerly awaiting the sequel because the cliffhanger at the end of the first book was absolutely mind-boggling.
