This made me so happy!!!

They're so fucking cute, and I love how they're still themselves and madly in love.

I love that Foster was Jacobs' best man, and that Seth and Asher were there to help Beck get ready.

There's no way Beck didn't have a trust fund though. Just saying.

Absolutely perfect.

I LOVED THIS BOOK SO MUCH.

Like, I thought I loved book 1, and I did don't get me wrong, but I loved this one 10x more.

Seven and Molly are definitely one of my favorite new couples.

I love Molly so much. He is THE definition of the sunshine golden retriever. The texts he would send! The word vomit. Everything. I love this boy so much. I also totally related to him with the not opening himself up to a lot of people.

Seven. God I love him. My heart breaks for what he went through, but holy shit am I in awe of his resilience and how much he's overcome it.

I loved seeing Seven slowly open up and all their dates! When Seven cursed for the first time because of the date I was SHOOK. Literally threw my hand over my mouth. And then the confession! Ugh I LOVE IT.

I love Xander and need his book to come out immediately. And him and Derek better be the couple! It's so clear that Derek is being called whenever there's an issue and showing up to help Xander. I love him already.

And I love the way that Molly accepts Xander into his life and is okay with his relationship with Seven.

I was sad that Christian and Emile were barely in it, and especially sad Gabe barely was. I get he moved out, but they say so much how Bertha Boys are family for life, so it was sad he barely was in it or thought about.

The only thing that got me heated and pissed me off was the dad and Will. I know they have a book together, and a dad getting with his kid's best friend is a HARD limit for me. Fucking disgusting. It might have (and by that I mean definitely did) influence how I feel about him, but I think he's trash. Gross as fuck that he thinks he can overstep and force Seven into therapy. Yeah, super nice he'd pay for it, but he needs to back the fuck out of something like that. Gross gross GROSS overstepping. Also, saying he wants to pretend Molly is a virgin and acting like he's a kid... MAYBE don't fuck someone his age that's his best friend then. Fucking nasty. As you can tell, I hate this plot and will not read their book, but yeah. Made me disgusted.

I love Christian and Emile so much! They were so stinking cute, and I had so much fun reading their relationship develop.

Christian was such a cutie pie, literal cinnamon roll, but boy did I get serious second hand embarrasment for him. Especially at the play. I was hiding in my blanket while I read.

I love that Emile was so confident and willing to immediately come to Christian's aid and defense. He was so confident and sweet.

I've already read Foolish Puckboy, so I knew Christian and Emile by name, and knew their ending (which is no surprise anyway because thankfully Saxon always gives us HEA), but I'm so happy to see their story! If anything, I'm kind of bummed that we got so little of them in Gabe's story.

I especially loved the Big Bertha boys and their relationship. I think it's so beautiful, and I loved seeing them all with Christian. Being his weighted blanket was the cutest thing.

I really loved Gabe and Christian's friendship, and I honestly feel robbed of it in Gabe's book.

I loved Seven, Xander, Rush, and Madden so much! I love that they're all truly different people, but they all found a family togehter.

I'm especially interested in Seven and Xander's friendship. Knowing each other from fostercare. I need to know more. ESPECIALLY ABOUT XANDER. The poor boy and his worries. And he's a virgin?!? I am SO UPSET that there isn't a book for him yet. It needs to happen. Saxon. Please.

I am excited for Darcy's book now, and Seven's and Molly's.

I can't believe this is finally out in the world. And I'm so bitter I didn't realize it came out yesterday and I'm a day late. But yes I did finish this in one day. And it was perfection.

Spoilers below because this is just me loving everything and sharing my thoughts.

JEAN MOREAU YOU BEAUTIFUL SWEET MAN.

I loved Jean in AFTG, but I will be honest and say I didn't feel the same attachment many others did.

Reading a million fic definitely made me love him more, but wow did this book bring a WHOLE new appreciation.

Same with Jeremy. Especially since he was more different than I thought he'd be. (Especially the family life! What is that! I wish we got more!) And especially because of the natural brown hair that he THANK GOD dyed blonde, but we are going to pretend he didn't and it was just natural. K thanks.

This story started off right in the feels right away.

I love that the first 25% was the ending of The King's Men. It was so interesting to see it from Jean's POV and get into his mindset while everything was happening. And Jeremy's for the Trojan game!

And seeing Kevin and Neil from Jean's POV was fascinating. I love that we saw that he still loves Kevin, even if he holds resentment. And the resentment makes more sense now that we see what really happened from someone who was there in Kevin's final moments in the nest. Also the confirmation that Jean had a crush on Kevin back in the day!!! I figured, but still great.

And Jean just straight thinking Neil has a bit of psycho in him! I DIED! And seeing Nathan's smile on his face from someone else's perspective. Amazing.

It was so heartbreaking to see Jean's mindset during all of this and how he viewed himself as a captive with the foxes. And that he wasn't truly safe when Neil made the deal with Ichirou.

One thing I loved, and I'm so happy about, was Jean and Renee. I love them together. Yes, fandom in fic has made me love JereJean, but I will always love Renee and Jean. She got him out. He trusted her enough to talk and tell her what was happening. And I was nervous they'd just be brushed aside to give the fans what they want, but I'm so happy they weren't.

I love that he says Renee was the first beautiful thing he allowed himself to want in so long. That rainbows became something he thought of to recognize the good. That he took her picture. That he wore her necklace. That he thought of her warmth kissing his temple. That he allowed their friendship to continue and messaged her. That she told him that he was the right person but it was the wrong time and she didn't want to impede his healing. GOD I LOVE THEM. And I love it was left open ended. And that there is a chance they could find their way back to each other, but if not it's okay because they'll always know it's the right person, wrong time, and that their bond and relationship is real.

I LOVE that Jean was confirmed as bi (even though Lucas is wrong and a dick). So many people erase his identity in fandom and act like he never felt anything towards Renee and it pisses me off. He can love Jeremy or Kevin in the fic and be bi.

And speaking of relationships being open ended, I love that JereJean was too. I'm happy Jeremy was confirmed as gay and that it was clear they both felt attraction and feelings growing for each other. But I'm also happy nothing happened. This book was so much about Jean dealing with his trauma and he still has a LONGGGG way to go. Anything happening would've been way too soon. And I loved watching the trust and platonic love build for them.

I loved Jeremy as a character and getting to see him beyond just the smiley always happy guy. I wish we got to see more of his family because I am SO intrigued by this.

It was interesting to see Jeremy slowly learn some things about the nest, but also see his perspective as someone who doesn't know the truth. I wonder if Jean would ever get to a point where he feels he could tell him about the Moriama's or if that is something that could come between them.

I really liked Cat and Laila and I love that they were just as much there for Jean as Jeremy was. I especially loved Jean and Cat's bond!

Seeing Jean dealing with his trauma was gut wrenching. I knew what happened to him in the nest, but having the rape confirmed and the rapist (one at least) given a name was just devastating. And Grayson coming back! I knew it was going to happen, but when Lucas revealed he'd only talk to Jean. THE GASP I GASPED. Hand FLEW over my mouth. It was Drake all over again, but thankfully not as horrible of a result. And when he made the comment to Neil about guessing Drake doesn't bite. OMG. I know he was kind of out of it, but the fact he trusted Neil enough to say that to him. And Neil immediately knowing and then ordering a hit on him! I LOVE YOU NEIL! NEVER CHANGE. And the stuff with Jean's sister. God this boy has suffered so much.

All the cameos from Neil, Kevin, and Andrew (though those were sadly very small) were amazing! And Jean continuously calling him Nathaniel, but then the switch to Neil was brilliant. Neil being even sassier and more chaotic from other's POV is amazing.

It was wild to me how much Jean was like Neil. It makes sense because (as he said) Neil was his promised pair. They were both sold into this life, though one 'got away'. Jean immediately going to lies, trying to escape, hating Dobson on sight, thinking Aaron is uninteresting! He is so Neil coded. Except because he was forced to play exy, while Neil was forced not to, he grew to hate the game where Neil loved it. The ending being SO SIMILAR to Neil's thoughts, but the opposite. How Neil is HAPPY by the thought that his future was a deal where he gets to play a game he loves and be with his friends and he can't wait, to Jean being unsure that his future is deal to play a game he barely likes anymore, but that he has friends now and is willing to see where it goes.

I truly loved all aspects of this book and I'm so glad we got to see some of Jean's story, but that it's still so open to his healing and what the future holds.

Edit: SO FUNNY I THOUGHT THIS WAS A STANDALONE AND DIDN'T KNOW THERE WOULD BE (at least) ANOTHER BOOK! I'm going to leave my original review but so funny that I was loving the open endedness, when it won't be, but I'm so happy we will get more and get to see where it all goes!!

This should've been an easy 5 stars for me. It has everything I love. Vampires, witches, enemies to lovers, beauty and the beast retelling, and it's gay. And I am such a generous rater.

But this book was just... meh.

That's honestly the only word going through my mind when I think about it.

The characters? Meh.
The romance? Meh.
The plot? Meh.
The writing? Meh.

I am just completely indifferent and will probably never think of this book again. Which is sad because I wanted to love it so much. And I already bought it and all the sequels in hardcover.

WHAT AN AMAZING ENDING TO THIS SERIES!!!

I loved Blake and Jordan's story so much!

My heart breaks for Jordan never feeling good enough, but I'm so happy he left Ben and stuck it to him. Fuck that guy.

I love that Blake was there for him through it all. And I love that Jordan helped Blake feel comfortable for the movie and with his sexuality.

I was so happy when they went into hiding with Eleven!! I loved seeing all the guys together and how they really are a family of brothers. They love each other and support each other so much and it was so beautiful to see.

The bet was hilarious, and I loved the taking of sides!

I love that Blake thought nothing of being attracted to men and wanting to explore it. I think it was a really interesting thought that he never even thought to explore because he had seen Ryder and Harley be shoved in the closet for so long.

I really liked Jordan and Blake's relationship, but the best part of this book was how much of the other Eleven members and their relationships we saw! It definitely had Final Play vibes, especially the epilogue.

I love that everyone was able to come out, and that they did it together on the show. THESE BOYS AND THEIR LOVE FOR EACH OTHER! SQUEAL!

I loved the epilogue and seeing where they all are. This series made me happy!

I LOVED THIS BOOK SO MUCH!!!

Even more than Ryder and Lyric's book. This was perfection.

I loved seeing Mason and Denver's relationship and how they bonded and reformed their relationship, and made it into more.

I feel bad for Mason and what he went through. I do get Denver's POV to an extent and why he felt embarrassed and stepped back, but also how could he just ghost his best friend like that. I get the heartbreak, but it's sad that he'd just end their friendship because of a rejection.

I love that Mason isn't the stereotypical body of a boy bander anymore, and that they did deal with the body image issues. But also that it wasn't such a heavy focus and a hang up for either of them.

I love how much Harley we got, and that we got to meet Blake (and Jordan) and see so much of him. I feel like we really got an insight into the friendship of Eleven. I wish there was more Ryder, but glad we saw him too!

AND ELEVEN CHASING AFTER MASON AND NOT LETTING HIM GO THIS TIME! CRYING!!!

AND THE WAY THEY CAME OUT! THE KISS!!! IT WAS EVERYTHING!

Loved this book and this couple so much!

I loved this story so much more than book one!! (Which I did still really love but not nearly as much as this one.)

Right off the bat, I loved both Ryder and Lyric so much!

I love that they met because Lyric was insulting boy bands (THE NERVE) and Ryder just laughed it off.

I love that they bonded over a love for music, and Kaylee.

I really enjoyed seeing a genuine friendship blossom before anything more happened, even though there was obviously attraction there the whole time.

I love how they worked through everything and found their way to a new future they both want together.

I also love how this series is really building off each other to get to that Eleven reunion which better happen!

I loved all of the Harley and Brix cameos and I'm hoping we see a lot more of all four of them in the next book!

This was cute!

I was annoyed as hell by Harley in Hat Trick, but also intrigued by his character and wanting to know what would happen for him.

I waited a good amount of time from finish Fake Boyfriends before reading this one (went with other books in Sadenverse first) but I'm glad I finally got to it.

I feel like Harley felt very different in this book than he did in Hat Trick. And this makes sense because we aren't seeing him from his ex's POV anymore, but I really did feel like it was basically a different person. He felt a lot like Jet actually lol. I liked him though.

I also liked Brix! He was sweet, and I really liked his relationship with his dad.

I was so sure I wouldn't read the Mike Bravo series because military type things are not for me. But damn if I'm into it now that I met Iris, Trav, and everyone else. I'm totally going to go in and read them.

I like that we saw Jet (Jay) and Soren!!! I feel like it was telling that Harley only ever referred to him as Jay and never Jet. I like that they were able to be in each others presence easier, especially Harley now that he has Brix.

I know Harley made the comment of not getting how anyone can be friends with an ex even if they've moved on, but I'm kind of hopeful they could be one day. They're both totally moved on, have no feelings left, and Harley has so few friends. That life can be so lonely.

I am kind of bummed we never saw Harley come out, but I also love that that wasn't the focus and get that it would be hard to have all of that in a short book. And I love that we did see Harley stand up to his record company, and decide he might not have a huge coming out, but he wasn't going to hide it as much anymore.

I'm excited for the rest of the books and getting to meet the rest of Eleven. And really hope they all decide to come back together for that album, because it sounds like an amazing idea!
