Why was this godforsaken book so damn long? I loved it though. But I will never read it again.  Talk about an emotional Rollercoaster!

My favorite character will always be Manon. I have put off reading this book because this series is long and sometimes I feel like I need life support. But this book really had some great scenes in it. I think the battle at the sea was probably one of the most beautifully written scenes that I have read in a fantasy series for a long time. Way to leave it on a really big cliffhanger

I love the growth of Lila.  She ended so strong in the 1st book and it's wonderful to see her back.  On to book 3

Ugh. I hate hate hate joining the cult but here I am.  VEhas done it again. I absolutely love this intro story of Kell. I love the high fantasy, the travel through worlds,  the magic, the fight,  the non romance,  and the "what if" of the story.  On to book 2.

So this book was confusing as fuck.  Like it took FOREVER to get to the point and then the ending was rushed in 4 pages. Insert eye roll here.  If there was a sequel,  I would pas.

I am so glad she left this possible to have another book.  I loved it.  Read it in 6 hours nonstop. There's something to be said about vengeance and women that get it after being wronged or misjudged.....
