This book had me intrigued from the beginning and I found it a quick read to get through. I loved the neurodivergent and mental health rep and do think it was written well. The only thing that let me down was how quick some of the emotional reactions between Lilah and Arthur came on.

I quite enjoyed this one.

Quick, easy read. Perfect for people getting into fantasy.

Powerful.

I loved this one!

This book was good, but confusing at times.

This book had me hooked in and I was heavily invested. I loved the storyline and really wanted to know the outcome of the book. I related to Mia’s character, but did find Cricket’s younger sibling selfishness quite infuriating (it was written so well though). A really powerful book on sibling bonds and dynamics.

I’m all for a historical sapphic novel and this one is definitely a recommend if you like literary fiction. However, I just couldn’t get myself into it. I’m okay with unlikeable FMC’s, but I couldn’t be swayed with this one. Honestly, I was just left disappointed and disengaged.

I was really intrigued to read this one however, it was a slog. It is such a big book for a YA novel and could’ve been trimmed down. There were also some bits that just seemed too fantastical for this book. I wasn’t really a fan of the characters, but there were some scenes that redeemed themselves for me and while I appreciate the mental health rep, I don’t think it’s appropriate for the focus to be that the main MMC’s are living for each other (I know there’s mentions of ‘live for yourself’, but that wasn’t nearly addressed as much). In saying that, I will probably read the next book when it comes out.

Massive TW for s**cidal ideology and s*lf-h*rm

I enjoyed this one.
