I love these characters so I think I’ll automatically love any book however this one had a lot of fluff and rushed over parts that shouldn’t have been rushed over. Not as a well planned out or edited as book one but still enjoyable!

Read this in a day…very quick page turner…I audibly gasped at the first big twist…didn’t see it coming…I did not need the second twist, felt unrealistic to me!

If I could give this book 500 stars I would. I am still trying to comprehend just how special this book is…Kristin Hannah really did justice to the brave women of world war 2 with this one!! Absolutely devastating and heartbreaking but so beautifully written! This book will stick with me for a long time!

What a brave woman! Hearing her read her own impact statement, I am sobbing! I am in awe of this woman’s strength and absolutely horrified at the treatment of victims. I highly recommend listening to this one to hear her strength!

I liked the first half of this book more than the second half. Hannah got annoying toward the end and I can’t stand when couples simply don’t communicate but overall it was a good and easy read.

To anyone that is upset at the author writing her male characters the way she did should never date a college, male athlete…these characters were much tamer and kinder than any that I dated in college, just saying!
