It was a joy to return to the Village of Yule! I adored this world and to return to it has trully been a pleasure!
This book can set us in the perfect holiday spirit with a twist of mistery and angst for our characters. I was delighted and couldn't put it down until the very last page!
I really enjoyed the story, there is no doubt about it, but also the characters. Their little perks and developments were adorable.
Juliet was a sweet woman, who had been negleted and let down by her family all her life.
She meets a man one night, and her feelings start growing, but then she learns that their meeting was not random at all, and she gets conflicted. How can she know what he trully wants? When will there be no more secrets? How can she believe that she belongs to a world she only thought had a place in fairy tales? And now that she met her place, how can she stay?
On the other hand, we have Will. Ohh... Will was everything!
He was assigned to help Juliet learn the truth about Yule and make her transition easier for everyone, and to make sure as a guardian he manage to keep Yule as a secret. Well.. things were sidetracked when everything he was told to do was kind of thrown out the windown when he met her. How could he know he was going to feel like that? That he could fall, and fall fast for someone he barely even knew?
Since they met he did all he could to help and protect her and make her happy in any way. He was perfect!
But how can a forbidden love grow and be accepted in the middle of so many secrets and forbidden laws?
One other thing I loved about this story was Juliet and Margot' friendship. It was so nice seeing such care and bond between two people. With no strings atrached. I loved it. I keep wanting to see her story too. I believe there's so much to tell about her and Harvey.

This was a sweet and honest story about two people who at a point in their lives were atracted to each other. But before they did anything regarding that attraction life kind of happened and some bad events took place. These events, mainly on Austin's part made him be a completly different person. Someone he didn't even recognised, but could't help but be.
If I must be really honest I really did not like Austin in the beggining. I know he was supposed to be a grump (that was kind of the point, and hey.. I love this troupe), but he was not only grumpy but also extremelly impolite and rude. I get it, sometimes life can get so in our way and change our expectations so profundly that our entire self gets overwelmed and destroyed. And maybe this was what led me to give him a chance and expect him to be better.
And I'm glad I did. Sometimes all it takes is one chance and opportunity (besides all hard work).
Bex knew Austin was in a bad place, but coulnd't help being attracted to him. But all that grumpiness almost pushed her away. But she maintained her effort and with time is was so worth it. She could see behing all the pain and see the real him. And when he opened up.. well, he was so worth it!
I really enjoyed this story and the character developement. And the other characters, as expected, of course!

This book was surely what I was in need right now! I nedded a sweet and super funny with an easy and so good sense of humor, to help me lift my mood and this one just hit the right spot.
The author made this characters so aproachable and relatable that I still don't know how she did it!
I really enjoyed both main characters.
In Alice we find a little bit of ourselves, bookworms! All those thoughts and emotions are actually things that go through my mind several times, so it was good to se them told here.
She was completly sunshiny and it brought so much lightness to the book.
Deacon was a true grump, but as expected he just had to have a tough wall to protect hkmself. After all, he just had went through so much that he truly deserved to find Alice and some happyness. The interaction between characters and their banter was sopt on, and those funny moments were exquisit. I trully laughed really loud in several onds but the one during the period scene and the spider thing. Priceless!
Lola, his niece was a very welcome addition to this book. Her character was true to a teen girl, who was grieving and starting to find her ground in her new world and reality! She brought so much depth into the story and to see her evolve and rise was very nice!
Loved it!
Heck, it was good to return to this town and this family!
In this book we can follow Jace, after returning home to Misty Peack and watch how he tries to win Ella's trust back. They were best friends until he joined the military, and then he slowly disapeared from her life. He had his reasons, but all she could see and feel was being left behind. So when he shows up she is guarded and is trying (but failing) to stay away from him and to not fall for him all over again.
But then someone is threatning her, and they start spending more time together and all those old feelings and some very strong new ones arise.
While we get tangled in the romantic and suspense of this book it aproaches also some heavy subjects, such as self image issues, grief and abandonment issues as well. But the author can make them blend in the pages so carefully, and in the story in a perfect way to help develop both characters.
I read this one in a few hours because I just couldn't put it down.
Nyssa has quickly become one of my favourite and insta-read authors. And she surely does not let us down. I can't wait for the next ones to come out!

This series really do not disapoint!
We follow Alana, a really big and famous actress, that has a little peace of heaven on the little secluded island of Marbella. Even with all the fame she is a sweet and down to earth girl, and a bit nerdy too (after all her past time is online scrabble). She meets Stevens online and for months they don't really get to know one another, but their interes grows with each daily game. With a little time they get to know each other o line and then meet face to face. And what are the odds of already knowing each other? When their relationship starts so do the questions? How will they deal with fame and its repercutions? Can they go through?
I really like this sweet and slow burn story. Both characters were really likeable and even Alana is written in a way as if fame was not a huge part of her life. Stevens is just a nerdy sweet guy, and he is perfection!
As well as in the previous books, the side characters are amazing , and in this one I really liked Brigitte and would love to read her story too!

I love Morgan's stories, every single time. The stories, the characters, the laughs, the cries, the busts of anger, all of it. And this one was no exception. Like the previous ones it's a masterpiece.
In this story we follow Jules, a hopeless romantic girl that in a solitary new year's eve meet a guy, and takes a leap of faith and ends up spending the most amazing two days with him. As the romantic she is she begins to fall and then she has a great disapointment and ghosts him.
Nate is a single dad that on a festive night meets the girl of his dreams. All is evolving well until she blocks his number ad disapears without a trace.
One year later, after his daughter wishes for him to fall in love he meets her again. And our story really begins with a series of events for him to win her over again (with the help of his little girl and his meddling sisters).
We have a complete sweetness overload!! That man is .. I can't describe it.
Everytime I read one of Morgan's books I fall a little bit in love. I fall for the story and all the characters, but damm.. the male main characters! Come on, how can she make them more and more perfect? It's like she knows all of the little thing that make them 'dreamy and perfect' and puts them all together and they keep getting better and better.
Nate was (of course) perfect. He was a gentleman, caring, sweet, protective, loving, kind and he made sure she was well and safe every step of the way. At first she tought he was a douche, but after being settled that it was just a little miscommunication on their part, he started to make sure we could wow her, to get her back.
“I bought the syrup the day you left my place. Never had a reason to use it, though.” ... “I figured I’d make sure they were fresh. Just in case.” He doesn’t finish his statement, but he doesn’t have to. Just in case. Just in case I came back one day. Just in case we met again.
He’s kept the syrups I like for my coffee in his house for a year just in case I made my way back into his home. A year of remembering how I like my coffee after barely two nights together. '
'I love you madly, Jules. Let me love you madly'
I adored Nate's sisters. Their closeness and friendship was awsome. They bring so much into this story, and it wouldn't be the same without them.
And I don't know how, but Morgan has managed to put my two favorite christmas movies in this book. OMG.. Die Hard and Love actually?? Come on! They are mandatory every single year!!!
I ended up laughing out loud in several moments and swooning in others. I ADORED this book!!

This sweet holiday novella brings us a modern retelling of beauty and the beast.
In this story we have Izzy, a sweet and cheery girl that lives in a small town. Her best friend asks her to help her in her wedding planning, and as maid of honor she takes her role very seriously. She just has to get grumpy NY CEO, Bo and best man on board. And that's not an easy task. He ignores her as best he can until he has to go to her small town during the holidays, to help with the last minute planning, and has to start spending time with her and be surronded by Christmas all around. It takes a while, but she cracks his tough shell and soon they start having feeling and even enjoying and longing for each other company.
But they live in two different worlds. How can they be, if none of them wants to leave their lives behind?
I enjoyed this short story. I can just say that the swich from grump and never loving anything to enjoying christmas end other people, from Bo's part was rather sudden, but in a short story maybe making that transition smother was probably difficult. Other than that is like a sweet hallamark movie, to read in a cozy blanket with a hot cocoa and enjoy!
I think this was my favorite of Lilly's books so far.
I really liked the story and how she related both characters past issues and trauma and made us relate to them and wanting to confort them all the way.
In this story we have main character that are quite imperfect, but I believe that this only adds to the book interest. It makes them more believable. And at the same time how they struggle with real life problems makes this book amazing!
So, we have Jack, that is a sweet guy with a tough exterior wall to protect himself. He has a touch fobia, and cant't stand being touched.
Emma is a nurse, and has a tiny problem. She discovers a surprise pregnancy, just as she starts getting interested in Jack. So they start having feelings for each other, but their issues kind of get in the way. Mainly the problems they each create in their heads.
It was good to see them overcome their fears, and start to bond with each other and realise that there is more to people and feelings and relationships than what they believed.
It is a good story and an amazing time to spend in a confy couch just relaxing!

No one should ever make you feel like you are not enough. If they do then clearly they don't deserve you and are not who you should be giving your heart.
You should be made a priority, special, protected, cherished, loved.
And that's what happened with Stella. She settled for less than she deserved, and on the morning of her wedding she found out just how unfaithfull (in every way possible) her fianceé was being. So she did just what she should : she ran away!
While running she meets a stanger in a bar, that is everything her ex-fiancee isn't. Even though they barely know each other Emmett is loyal, considerate, he protects her and he accepts her (and encorages her to be her true self) and slowly they fall for each other. Not that they admit it, but "its the little things" that give it away!
Eventually they must return to real life, and how can they and how should they behave now? They must overcome some issues to finnaly admit what they feel and what they want! And when they do... ohh, boy!!
This book made feel so many emotions I can't even begin to tell you how many. I laghed, I cried, I gasped, I felt enraged, I felt love. Gosh, I don't know how the author did this but she hit the jackpot with this book! It was amazing!
Reading this book was like entering a magic wonderland. I was overwelmed and amazed and I just couldn't put this story down. I loved it!
This little bit of christmas magic was just what I needed.
At first I didn't even imagine the road this story was about to take. I believed that the Klaus name was just that, and that it had a meaning because the story was being set at christmas time. I'm so happy I was wrong! That magic happening and turning this book into a fantasy and magic story was a big and surely nice surprise that made me enjoy it even more.
At first Lyla and Mason were great enemies. They work at the same company, and share (but not equally) the ownership. They could not be more different or appart. While Lyla is all warmth and kind Mason is strict and kind of cold. While she loves chistmas and all it implies, he is kind of a Scrooge.
I could relate easily to both main characters. Lyla had so much on the line, and feeling left out and being pushed aside from the legacy she so much wanted hurt and made her resent Mason. Mason never wanted to be at odds, but he wasn't one to stand down so he gave as much or maybe more than he get.
There sure is a thin line between love and hate, and with such stong emotions so many things can change.
So when he takes her to his home magic town and they have to spend time together, and really getting to know one another, some things start to shift and some of that hate starts do disolve and turn into something else.
The Village of Yule is somewhere where I wouldn't mind to get lost from time to time. All that close community and all the friendship and support they have for each other was heartwarming
And who never dreamed to go see santa clause and his hometown and see how they make the magic of christmas come true?
I can't wait to get lost in this Village and this world again.
