This book was on my e-reader for a long time. I'm glad I finally got to it, but it just wasn't for me.

There were some funny and clever moments. But overall, I did not enjoy the magic system, which was too soft for my tastes, and I didn't enjoy the world the book was set it.
I was intrigued enough to keep on reading, and I did have some fun. But I won't be reading on in the series.

Also, I am not a fan of midieval-ish fantasy. And what was up with the language? Italian-ish? Not my style at all. I think this book is for the boyzzz...

As a sidenote... I don't like that the word 'c*cksucker' was used a few times. Seems to me like an unneccesary homofobic slur.

No comments, just vibes. The audiobook was very good. You can tell the narrator is getting more comfortable as Violet

Interesting and quick read. She doesn’t linger, which is nice.
Also, there are some concrete examples of what to do, although it is still difficult.

There was a part where my boyfriend listened in. He was incredulous…

I’m trying to talk more openly, although the men who are the main problem, I don’t associate with anyhow (or so I like to believe)

Really interesting, but took me a very long time (and multiple tries) to read.
It can be a bit dry, because especially towards the beginning it’s quite factual and less personal.

I also read a review that says it just sums the history, I instead of tying it to the current situation. And I agree to a certain extend.
I think the author could have tied it a together a bit more.

But overall very informative, and should be complementary to other feminists/health-related readings.

Fun, quick read, but probably won’t read any of the other works.
