  • This my first read by this author and I really enjoyed it. It was so sweet loved every second of them falling in love.

  • Natalia was used to the finer things in life from a young age. No stranger to being spoiled and speaking her mind. Her past relationship put things into perspective for her and now shes in Seattle finishing grad school. Timothy was so real lol what you see is what you get, no gimmicks involved. Now I'm not saying he doesn't have layers but he never had to lie to get what he wants lol. He's had a hard childhood but came out on the other side. Tim is definitely the alpha male and protector all that stuff that makes a girl feel safe.

  • I don't know if she wrote Tim with me in mind but I was smiling and cackling the whole book about this man. No shade to Nat. I loved how Tim was so direct all Nat could do was shut up lol. He wasn't into the screaming matches or indirectness. I really enjoyed them figuring out how they fit into each other's life lol.

  • Id recommend definitely enjoyed. Ik this is apart of a series, I didn't read the books prior and still enjoyed it.

  • You know what I hate... when an author writes a book so damn good now i have to sit and think abt it for HOURS DAYS EVEN. The audacity of her im sick behind this man and hes only on paper.

  • I loved Torin in the first book. Big entrepreneur not the little. Super loving and just light and this book was no different. But I wont lie Synovi Black was it for me. The growth in his character from then till now is so encouraging. His business is flourishing and his life is too. Becoming the person you were meant to be is amazing experience and I felt that while reading. The writing yall the pen is very much there.

  • This to me was the perfect ending. The love in this book was too much and im not even just talking about TorNovi. Platonic and everything else was beautiful. The conflict only created a stronger relationship and I was here for it ALL. The ending had me sickkkkkkkkk like im like its no way it cant be. When worlds collide >>>

  • Go ahead and read this gem!

- This book was everything. I was about to jump through the pages a couple times I was in too deep lol. I felt so protective over Elias and Cress marriage.

- Cress lives her life for no one but herself! She lives her dreams of being a dancer and not being under her family's thumb. I loved her commitment to herself. You cannot be of any help if you aren't confident and comfortable in your skin. With that being said her family needs her help for the first time in years. They need her to marry Elias. This quiet and chaotic man rolled into one. Elias is a king🧎🏾‍♀️Im so happy he got to be loved properly!

- He feels he can be of no help to his family with his mental health and she wants nothing more than to be free of her family and their business. I thought it would take forever for me to get on board with this marriage but literally 10% in I knew this book would be good asl. I loved the representation of bipolar disorder the good and bad. The calm was so authentic and sweet but that storm was scary and truly manic but throughout I was rooting for them. Im so happy with this book I truly loved it. I need more lol.

- Definitely recommend im off to read the second book!

- I just knew I was gonna love Ez book because you could just tell he had so much to give. Him and his brother were both so vulnerable and I love to see it.

- Jhorie decides to move back home after she ends her long term relationship. Shes home and is back on her grind! She wastes no time getting into her career and continuing to water things that are important to her. Jho is extremely smart with a lot to say. However when Ezekiel comes with that BDE she gets all quiet lol. Ez is very forward from his first interaction with Jho. He is the middle child and literally the glue of the family for years and he all but kill's himself helping everyone else. He is newly divorced and is looking to re-enter the bachelor life lol but not really because he wants love.

- These two both deserved each other. But more than that they both chose each other. They had me a little confused on why they couldn't just date like normal people but when you know you know ig. I really liked this book too. These men and their vulnerability😫 chile I want one. I cant wait for Christians story though because his situation is crazy.

- Definitely recommend. Read the first story for the full experience.

- This friend group is quickly making its way to the top! I just love everyone's banter and the dynamics between everyone.

- Ms.Dylan had me from the first book I knew her story would be GREAT! This book did not disappoint. She was still every bit of entertaining and assertive but we got to understand why. My girl is the oldest sister and it shows lol real bad. Nixon was the perfect balance for my girl Dyl even with the playful banter. Nixon also shoulders a-lot and has lots of layers to him. Seeing them move from a place of total resistance to a ready made family was tew good.

- I will be the first to admit I don't like the pregnancy trope but maybe I do... new year new me?? It's really the way they handled it like they were so mature about everything and didn't force a life together because they created life together lol. Nixon of course had me cackling the whole book but when he was serious he was serious and I really enjoyed myself happy I saved this for the new year.

- Definitely recommend!! Had me a timeee all the feels.

- I love a messy ass book chile and I love a fmc who not afraid to talk her shit! This book was a whole lotta whole lotta.

- Yakima is that girl lol, a nurse bae with a real head on her shoulders. Kiki was actually very head strong and spoke her truth. I was rooting for her the whole book even if I didn't agree I was gonna stick beside her bc I loved her character that much! Now ima be honest Frisco you gonna HAVE to see me after that shit! I liked Francisco I felt like since he was the oldest sibling he felt responsible for so much. So when he got with Kiki it was like a breath of fresh air because she didn't require much from him and it didn't feel like another task on his never ending to do list.

- First of all everybody in this book didn't know when to let shit go. Second hand embarrassment had me in a chokehold! Frisco needed to come WAY harder with his apology but like I said if kiki is happy then im through the roof. I did enjoy all the mess in the beginning like the secret baby daddies, the affairs, and everybody who kiki smacked. I was here for all of it. My review would have been higher if we got a few more scenes of Frisco crying on the step's begging lol. Needed more of that energy from him after violating like that.

- This book was a good time though. I really just want to read about Finn though. Ima tap back into this world when he gets a book. Id recommend if you love ghetto shit.

- I enjoyed this book a little tew much with all the foolishness that took place. I went through the wringer with this one my emotions were all over the place because it was just one thing after another! However one thing that remained was the love Cou and Jazzy baby had for one another!

- Jasmine Cunningham is the it girl in her little town. Her family has deep roots and she makes a real life for herself. She has the career, the mindset, the family and now the MAN! Loved how she didn't need nobody she was finna make shit shake on her own EVERY time! Then it was Yacoubo Miller.... chileee he is the moment! Had me feening for his ass since the first book. A real man through and through! Takes care of his girl, his family and he's always standing on business. He a little off but nobody's perfect...

- Im still not sure really what the Consortium is but iont wanna die so the less I understand the better 🤣🤣. Loved the families in this book lol they were true definition of ride or dies! I really felt like it was so much happening and everything got answered by the end! The only things left unanswered were things I can see playing out in the rest of the series. Overall this was such a good book with lots of love and a whole lot of foolery.

- Please read this book lol! Definitely recommend!

- Im starting to love second chance romance laying it all out on the table admitting they fucked up and whenever their significant other is willing and able to try again their ready. It's something so beautiful reading about that. JL is such a poetic writer that makes me feel every emotion and this last book was truly top tier!

- Mallory strong and resilient forever servicing someone. I really felt for her in this book because its like do I even wanna give you another chance to break my heart? Do i trust you enough to give myself to you? Regardless of Chris intentions he broke her TWICE and that's scary to take another chance on. Christopher strong and resilient forever saving someone. I feel terrible that he had to give up so much of his life to shitty people who didn't deserve him, but I am oh so happy he got the HEA he deserved!

- I felt like this was a mystery book I was literally sitting here tryna figure out what was coming next. Then reading Chris monologues had me literally tearing up. He loves Mal so much and has no shame in telling anyone who will listen. So happy they found their way back to each other. Im also relieved that they family is back in one piece. This book wrapped pretty much everything up in a bow and I'm happy because we deserved this🤣

- Definitely recommend this is part three though. Go in order!

- Where do I even begin its so much I wanna say. This book was extra special because it felt like therapy. I got a cameo from some of my favorites. The writing was top tier, character development was on point and it was fun to read. Every relationship in this book was amazing romantic, platonic, mentor/mentee, brotherhood, and literally so much more.

- Eve Valentine the baby girl of her family and  the true definition of stubborn. She thinks she can fix everything herself and the things she cant fix she ignores them lol. I've never and I mean never had beef with one of A.E fmc like this before🤣. By the end of the book I sympathized with Eve a little more bc she truly thought she did the best thing for herself. However comma I feel like the time they spent apart she didn't do any healing she just buried it all and thats why she irked me so bad when shit was coming up that she couldn't control. Then its Winter mf King..... I already knew I was gonna love him because hes funny asl but baby I love him REAL BAD now. The amount of growth on these pages had me tearing up! Depression and grief are no joke and it can really make you into another person and it was amazing how he came back to his true self. Winter is definitely a charmer he knows how to make a person feel good in EVERY way. 😌

- Now lets get into this book Ms.Eve know she dead fucking wrong playing in Noah face like that. She dragged it for more than half of the book but she got it together by the end. Then Winter kept giving me butterflies this man kept me on my toes he wasn't settling. Why tf was he on Eve asssss yall. He kept it so cute but definitely made himself crystal clear he's taking EVERYTHING. It was a little found family vibe going on, then Winter was literally the best Mentor ever, we had back to back therapy sessions with Dr.Maddox, and my favorite part Eve taking accountability that she wasn't there for Winter in the way he needed. This is not to say Winter is innocent at all lol.

- Definitely in my top 5 of 2023. Enjoyed the ride with this one. Definitely recommend!
