As always Chloe Liese absolutely slayed the chronically illness and neurodivergence rep!! Her books never fail in making me feel all the feelings and just being so grateful to see those characters, struggling with similar things I struggle with, get a happy ending
Feels very bittersweet to finish this series and it was a great last book!
This book was BEAUTIFUL!!!! It had me giggling and kicking my feet!!! Idk what it was about this book but it just made me feel all the good feelings! It was so funny and also just so wholesome, I almost didnāt want it to end
I adored Lucieās relationship with Grayson. There arenāt too many single parent romances where the other parent is still in the picture, and with such a great relationship at that.
Aiden doesnāt know it and tries to fight it but heās so adorable I died a few times because heās so cute
The radio plot line was really fun and I enjoyed that it was something different
I definitely recommend this book if youāre looking for a feel good rom com to give you aaaaalll the good feelings

I spent 50% of this book sobbing and the other 50% laughing (and there was also quite a bit ofā¦sweating if you know what I mean).
Iām not kidding when I say that chapter 50 made me ugly cry. Also that epilogueā¦ I literally could not stop crying while reading this book
I really loved Face Off and somehow this book was even better. I canāt even put into words how beautiful and healing this story was.
I love Madeline, Lucy and Hudson with everything in me, this book was everything.
The book club scenes were amazing and I need a book just with the team discussing their book club picks. I loooved the Grant dark romance commentary
Mav and Hudsonās friendship was so so beautiful. I really wish more men in real life could put aside their toxic masculinity to allow for these type of relationships, theyāre really missing out.
Hudsonās struggle with grief was so real and heartbreaking. I think it was portrayed beautifully, which is so hard with a terrible topic like that.
Lucy and Madeline made me so much more aware of how excluding our society is for deaf people. Seeing Hudson step up for them and give them the love they deserve healed me.
I think this book will stay with me for a while

With that being said:
Well that was disappointing. I am so so so bummed out because of this book. I thought it was so amazing and unique, the plot was so intriguing. I had the best time reading thisā¦. And then that plot twist happened. Literally ruined the whole book. It left SO many plot holes and kind of made the rest of this book not worth it and it didnāt really make sense to me anymore?
I really really wanted to read the rest of this series but right now Iām feeling very hesitant because Iām scared theyāll be as bad as the last 30% of this one
This wouldāve been 4 stars, maybe more, if the plot twist had been something different, so because of that I can only give it 3 and those 3 are only for the first 70% of this book
Why would you set up a relationship for 300 pages out of 450 only for it to be completely hallucinated? Kemperās ārealā character felt so fucking flat and stupid in my opinion. This wouldāve been so much better if their prison relationship had been real and the plot twist had been just Dashās escape and his blacking out and all that stuff. Also how and why do we get the pov of a character that turns out doesnāt exist?

This book literally had everything!! It was extremely funny, I really missed Brynne Weaverās kind of humour, I also somehow sobbed my eyes out in the last 20% and the spice was amazing
I loved this book A LOT and Iām so so happy that this series ended on such a high note while also being DEVASTATED that this series is now over
I think Butcher & Blackbird is still my favourite in this series but this one came very very very close
That epilogue was 5 stars on its own. I need to reread butcher and blackbird asap
