I haven’t been really into reading lately but this one was the perfect little shortish book to get me hopefully back into reading some more.
I literally just googled angsty books and this was one of the first I found and it didn’t disappoint.
I loved it.
As usual with my angst filled reads I wanted more of show down between fmc and the other women and this one literally had nothing. Like they never meet there’s never even a word spoken between the two. I wanted more.
Needed more.

Oh Danny Boy.
He was one of the best male main characters I’ve read in a while. He quite literally became an instant book boyfriend. How could he not?
Danny made this book so perfect.
I liked Charlie as well but she was a bit childish and over reacting.
I don’t like miscommunication and this book was riddled in it because of Charlie never actually talking about anything serious with Danny or anyone else. If she had spoken up this book could have been over much quicker.
Still I enjoyed this book.

Mine For A Moment by Catharina Maura
. Obsessed.
Completely and utterly obsessed with Archer and Serenity these two were so incredibly cute and adorable together that it’s ridiculous that they ever thought they shouldn’t be together.
Maybe I’m heartless but I had no feelings for Tyra when she came back because all I wanted was Archer and Sera to hurry up and get together.
I need more from them. I need to her pregnant and to see how much Archer is obsessed with her like that. I need it all.
They might quite literally be one of my favourite book couples of all time.

I wanted to like this book.
It had all the drama and betrayal that I like in my books lately but this book was not it.
I get that I’m coming in at book 3 but there was way too much focus on the other couples and their life’s which I could probably get over if it wasn’t repeated every single time another person popped up.
How many different times do I have hear about Anchor and Ginger or her sister and Axel.
The history is repeated and repeated.
Also I feel like everything is repeated over and over again. Every second chapter she’s talking about how he betrayed her but every time it’s almost the exact same words. I literally skim read the last couple of chapters and saw repeats.

This book is a beautiful book showing how mental illnesses can change someone’s life and the impacts people’s words have on others.
This book shows the hardships of Pearls life before during and not quite after. It shows that recovery is a lifelong goal one that she will work at for the rest of her life but having the support of people who love her unconditionally helps her so much.
Also opening up is a good thing.
I did however struggle getting into the book at first. The book probably should have been written in a before and after way instead of the first 10 or so chapters being info dumps of the past it would have been easier for me to get into the story.

. This book was fun.
And best of all was how completely and utterly obsessed Levi was with Amy. Like he was an idiot at the beginning but even then it’s because he was obsessed and after the life she had in glad she got a he falls first and a he falls harder story.
For the first time in a while I’m glad about the ending I fell like the Calvin and the parents got exactly what they deserved and I only wished we could have seen Ava get what she did what she tried going for Levi.
Such a fun book that I might end up reading more from the author.

This book. I felt like I was a vampire starving for blood with the way I needed to read it straight away.
And I’m glad I did.
This book was so much more serious then the first but somehow had to much more love and emotion in it.
Unfortunately for me the grovelling from Julian didn’t last as long as I wanted and I suppose it makes sense but it also makes Thea seem a little soft.
I want her to be more badass in the next one and I can see that starting already.
I can’t wait to continue the series even if it might be a little while before I get back to it.

This book was soooooooooo good. Like I thought I would like it but I loved it. I need to continue the series more than I’ve ever needed to continue a series before.
I can’t wait.
I hope Julian begs. Like on his fucking knees begs because that’s what she deserves.
Spoilers for a second but no matter what the council said to him. Like what Thea said if he loved her at all as soon as her mom’s name came up he should have been there. At the very least a friend would have recognised that much less her mate.
Even still I love him and them. I want them to be together with the right fucking begging and grovelling on his part of course.

. This book was the perfect mix of romance, drama and suspense.
I did know this was book 2 in the series but I decided to give it a try. I wasn’t completely lost which is always good hahah.
I do think I will be going back to book 1 and starting the series about I really like the writing style also thankfully it didn’t seem like I got any spoilers from this book.
I loved the romance of the story the way both of them had reasons to stay away from each other but in the end they couldn’t.
My only complaint is that the pair of them in the end knew each other for maybe 2 months at the most and he was already proposing being together for literal seconds at that but I guess after such a dramatic life and death situation that could happen.
