This could be my favourite Sanderson book yet! WOW. This series is truly amazing, there's enough entertainment between Wax and Wayne but then you throw in the rest of the characters and you get something magical. I love them as a group, Steris especially is so relatable and she's just so beautifully herself.

This book started getting into all the good stuff only a few chapters in and it never slowed down, the character development in this installment was exceptional, I found myself disliking things about Marasi to then see her grow and learn from her behaviour... yesssss, we love to see it! The world is created so well; you feel like you're on an adventure with this amazing group.

There honestly isn't one bad thing I can say about this series and this installment especially, I will forever be in awe of Brandon's mind, the amount of knowledge he has of this world he has created and the way he manages to continuously produce ART at such high quality.

This is hype!! This short story was so touching, it answered some questions and left me with some new ones, the Cosmere Universe is absolutely epic.

This was a fun, quick read with some cool info on the Koloss. The only part I didn't enjoy was the annotations from Handerwym but I think that was because it was via audiobook and it flicked to them quite often, if I had read this without audio I don't think I would have minded!

Not as detailed and epic as other Sanderson works but still fun nonetheless and perfect for a short story - definitely worth a read for any die hard fans, I'm glad I read it and as always Brandon leaves me wanting more.

This was way more enjoyable than expected, the characters and the art style of this manga were fab! Can't wait to read more from this weird little family.

There's a lot people have to say about this book and honestly it's just as good if not better ever single time I re-read Twilight! There's a lot that's said against Meyer's writing but she got a whole generation of people reading and she has created a story that I am personally obsessed with, both books and films hit my in the feels every single time. To be quite honest there were only a couple of things I could point out that I didn't like about Meyer's writing but they weren't so bad that I was taken away from the story... one being, she uses the word very an awful lot for some reason.

Either way, no matter what is said about this story, I am and forever will be grateful for these books, they're my comfort read, they bring me so much enjoyment and I am always happy to go back to them.

This is such an in the middle rating (for now) I might decide to change it later... on a reread maybe? But I'm so annoyed/disappointed in this book but it was also amazing and heart wrenching at times...

Writing - Good
Original Characters - Good
New Characters - Bad
Plot - Bad

And we were actually given TOO MUCH. So much Cosmere, so many returns... it seems to have dampened the mystery of the Cosmere world and leaves me feeling less excited about it all.. I like the secrets, I like the unknown, I like finding out bits here and there, to feel like there's soooo much still left to find out in this vast universe. Instead, it was all handed to us on a platter (kinda).

This volume wasn't as good as the first 2, I didn't like the new characters and the first half dragged. Thankfully the last half was a lot better.

I did not expect The Blade Itself to be as good as it is, I thoroughly enjoyed every moment of it. The atmosphere in this book is exactly what I've been looking for, it's dark, raw and gritty! I had so much fun and Abercrombie's writing is up there with one of my favourites.

I'm really, pleasantly, surprised. I don't have one complaint.

My favourite character throughout was Logen Ninefingers, I can't wait to get more from him but Glokta really grew on me as the story went on.

I'm so excited for the rest of this series!

Loved it just as much on a re-read and would definitely want more from this story.
