I am so thrilled to start the next Salacious series. And this is the perfect start.

This book is about Jack St Claire and Camille. Its setting is in the city of love, Paris.  Even so it brings some bone deep grief. After the loss of his wife and attempting to raise his daughter, Jack is lost. He lost himself in grief and in not knowing how to swim to shore.

Camille takes a chance on fate and finds ends up at Jacks door and in a whirlwind becomes his nanny. And then so much more.

I love love the bondage rep in this, and I always love a ‘Good Girl’. It’s why loved Praise so much. But I especially love the care Cate took when writing the Shibari scenes. We get the aftercare and the dynamic between Jack and Camille. The trust is earned and respected. And of course because it’s Sara Cate, the spice is quite nice. I definitely enjoyed when the ‘fu*k it’ moment came along

There were some parts I felt were rushed, but that could be me just wishing it was longer 😂. I was throughly enjoying the story.

This series has taken me completely and I am going to go feral waiting for the last book to release in October.

This immediately picks up where book one leaves off, so you jump straight back into the action.  This books brings more intrigue and political cartwheels.  We get a deeper look into exactly what the emperor has up his sleeve and how he wants to use his soon to be betrothed to help him.

There's some twists and turns that I am extremely excited to see work themselves out, and no spoilers, but there's a big thing I cannot wait to see more of.  We also get to see some of the trust and dare I say affection build between Tallu and Airon. Now where theres some slight miscommunication going on, its alright since I feel its a bit necessary.  Even if I hate the trope.

There is some light spice, but this story is very character and plot driven, I find myself not minding.  Even if I am a smut queen.

I love a good Romantasy, I don’t venture into them often but I am so so glad I took a random review on booksta and let it convince me to read this book.

This is book one in a trilogy, book 2 just recently came out and I am so glad because the cliffy is pretty steep. I’m so sad the third doesn’t come out til October.

The world building is wonderful, it’s not too heavy and overly done. The political intrigue is top notch, again not too much you can’t follow but enough to keep you guessing.

I love the almost instant chemistry between Tallu and Airon. They have an instant connection whether Airon wants it or not, you get to have the ‘will they, won’t they’ trope in spades. (Even if you kind of know it won’t go that way). There is some spice, but it doesn’t take center stage. It’s sprinkled in well with the story, adding flavor instead of being a primary goal.

Again I am so glad I found this series and highly recommended it to my fantasy lovers. You won’t be disappointed

I have probably said this before, but Ashley James knows how to write cowboys. And now apparently hot daddy firefighters.

I’ve been waiting for the next installment and boy did it deliver. I love seeing the ultimate playboy realize maybe he’s not such a playboy anymore. There’s some hurt/comfort a tad bit of we shouldn’t, but they do and it’s so fu*king hot. Ford is struggling with a divorce after 23 years. Hollis just wants a good time with the hot fire captain.

The age gap is about 20 years, so know that going in. But they are adults, Hollis being 28. (I know a lot of people don’t like them young and in an age gap that big).

James also knows how to write hot cowboy smut with a side of snarky flirting banter and some top tier dirty talk. It was downright filthy in the best possible way. Don’t read it in a public place. 😱🫠

One thing Meghan Quinn is exceptional at is banter.  And this book is full of top tier banter.

I have loved the previous two books, so I was extremely excited to get my hands on this one.  It falls in line with the other books, this story follows Hudson, the older brother and his marriage of convenience.  Sloan is his assistant and unbeknownst to him, his future bride.  Enter all of the wonderful banter.  Sloan is an absolute spitfire that I'm pretty sure even on his good days Hudson could barely handle.  But he makes do, maybe gets her on her knees a bit in 'punishment' Because not only is there top tier banter, but the spice is also very, very nice. We defiantly get to visit a little bit of a different side and I was so here for it.

The story is very well paced, and we get to see the other siblings and check in on their relationships continuing on. They make for some great side characters also including Stacey, Sloan's twin.  We do get to see some resolution to some things that have arced through the previous books, which I thoroughly enjoyed seeing.

Overall, I absolutely loved this book, and the series.  Quinn knows how to write some steamy rem-coms that you're sure not to forget overnight.  I will absolutely be adding trophy copies to my shelves.

Wineheart knows how to write delicious filthy taboo smut and I am 💯 here for it.

This is definitely an acquire led taste as the triggers are pretty steep. I’m talking absolute non-con. Object insertion etc. so enter with caution. But if that’s your cup of tea….

You’re in for a wild delicious ride.

This was absolute pure filth and I loved it. Prem is kidnapped by a gator alien species and is made the leaders captive. What he chooses to do with his is depraved and absolutely delicious.

When he tries to run, he realizes that what could happen in an alien planet is far worse than what his alien captor could do. This leads to more filthy smut.

So if you’re looking for a spicy read with a loose story, this is for you. Enjoy!

If you follow me, you know I LOVE Harmony West. If she writes it I will absolutely read it, no questions asked.

With that said I was incredibly excited to read Treys story!  This is the third installment of the Diamond Devils series, they are dark hockey romances, and they are absolutely delicious.

We meet Trey in the first book, If You Dare, and he is a bad, bad boy. We get to really dig into him in this book, which is probably Harmony’s darkest book to date. We meet Violet in the second book, so to say I was super excited to see what these two could get up to was an understatement.

I loved the ‘he stalks her, but she stalks him back’ vibe and story. They are so perfectly unhinged and made for each other. There are some deranged, kinky, spicy and absolute 🔥scenes. A motorcycle, piercings, a tarantula, drugging?!  This truly has it all. I knew this book wouldn’t disappoint, but it blew me away.

There are some darker trauma themes involved so check warnings, know what you’re getting into. I reviewed this from an early copy and all thoughts are mine.

I love the Leighton U boys. But Phoenix and Holden are my favorite.

I’m a sucker for enemies to lovers, we know this. But add a forbidden edge and a ‘fu*k it’ moment and it’s so much sweeter.

Phoenix and Holden have a one night only before summer break except Holden doesn’t remember that. Fast track to fall and Phoenix’s bestie wants a piece of Holden all for himself. Nix gets stuck between hating Holden and wanting what’s best for his bestie, which then turns into wanting Holden for himself.

This book really puts you through it a bit. You want to hate Holden, just a smidge. And honestly  part of me wanted to hate Kason, Nix’s bestie. I just did. How dare he get in the way of true love. But Nix. You kind of dig your own grave buddy. But Phoenix and Holdens chemistry is absolutely undeniable, even when they hate each other.

Which obviously leads to some amazing s*x. Like top tier. The Jersey scene. I’m going to think about that for a long time. And the shower. But I digress. It’s good. Really good.

I love the Wayward Sons series. Like so freaking much. And I was hella excited to get to dive deeper into Xavier’s psych and get to really see what makes him tick

Xavier is one of the troubled triplets who has his vices to try and cope with his traumas. I.e drugs, sex, putting himself in bad situations. Enter Ash, our forced into retirement FBI agent that Xavier has put his sights on. They get to go undercover for a mission and take their cover more seriously than intended. So they fuck and fall in love, but it’s absolutely wonderful, and becomes so much more.

I love the exploration of sexuality brought forth in this book. The discussions of they/them. What it means to the characters and displaying a representation of how it might play out in someone’s daily life. But also how it can affect and be handled by a loving partner. Serious kudos for how it was written and approached.

The only real thing I struggled with was in the beginning of the book Ash’s chronic leg injury is such a big deal, but then it kind of just isn’t?  Like after a certain point it isn’t really mentioned and so big the things they do I really would have thought the injury should have made a definite impact. But maybe I’m being picky.

Overall I highly recommend this, it’s top tier right up there with the other Sons. And of course Eveland knows how to write a sexy scene, and this is by no means lacking.
