I love a dark unhinged romance, throw hockey in?  I’m absolutely feral for it.

The blurb leaves a vagueness to what to expect and after reading it, I greatly appreciate it. It hit different when you really see what these boys are about.

You have your traditional hockey bad boys hating each other, but then it strays into serial unaliving and some serious death kinks. And boy I was there for it. The exploration of morals was an interesting piece, the can I accept this kind of vibe. But also the fascination of death that is so present. Again I didn’t know exactly what I was walking into but it was a happy surprise.

It’s like bitting into a cupcake and realizing it’s crème filled. It just adds that much more.

The spice and kinks were on point. Like there were things I don’t think just knowing about I would think we’re hot. But reading how Hale wrote them, I was so freaking down for it. She has a way of writing the scenes where you’re transported there, you get a sense of what they are feeling and the effects of it.

This was a fabulous read and I HIGHLY encourage you to check it out if you’re into dark hockey romances. This was a fantastic journey.

Quincy and Blake are everything. That’s the review, JK.

It’s no secret I love this series, adore it in fact. It got harder each book for the last brother to be topped, but little Vitale has stolen the show.

I liked Quincy from meeting him in Say I Do, but wasn’t sure he was ‘a whole book’ material. I was absolutely wrong. The banter between him and Blake is top tier, they both don’t know when to back down. We get to dive into Quincy’s world and see the hole left by Harlow marrying Benito. Not a great time for Quincy.

We get the baby brother the Vitales didn’t know they had or wanted. Blake has no idea what he just walked into and how crazy his life is going to get, no matter his crimes in CA. And of course some daddy dearest drama.

I’ve given up being able to say what book is my favorite, when I try I just think of all the reasons I like another one etc. but End it All will stick with me, Blake and Quincy have burrowed into my heart. There is a set up for a final book, and I think this was the perfect finish for the brothers, they all got their Happily Ever After. Which these boys definitely fought hard for.

Now let’s see if dear old Dad can fight for his.

Ok. I learned with this book I in fact enjoy some feminization. It’s pretty fuc*ing hot.

This book is spicy, but it’s such good spice. The chemistry that Robbie and Ant have is top tier. It’s pure 🔥

This is a fusion of hockey, enemies to lovers, spicy, with a touch of angst. We get to see the struggle of Ant coming yo terms with becoming a ‘relationship’ guy and what that means for his future and coming out. Robbie is just determined Ant is his and it doesn’t matter, he’s in it to win.

This has made its way to a top favorite from Jesse H Reign, I loved everything about it. I couldn’t put it down until I finished, like 2am still reading, need to know what happens.

I love a shifter book and this definitely hit the spot.

As someone of Scandinavian descent, I love Vikings and all the lore and mythology surrounding that time. So to find out there was a wolf shifter, viking, and time travel book?  I was in so freaking fast. Thank you Ravenna for letting me be on the team to read and review.

We start our time with Kieran and end up back in time, found and chained by Vikings.  It’s not as kinky and you want it to be 😉.  When Kieran meets Wulfric, he realizes he needs more than some Ruby slippers to get him home. We get a good start with the enemies to lovers, I don’t want to have to rely on you vibe.

There’s some family drama and drama with the pack ( Did I mention Wulfric is the Alpha?). Kieran has to prove his loyalty and find his wolf, he has to earn his right to be Wulfrics mate, even if they’re fated.

And the spice?  Dear lord it is top fuc*ing tier. Ravenna knows how to right a good fuc* and I love them for it. There are so many quotes that just lit my soul on fire 🔥

This was a fast paced quick read, and I loved it. I love that there seemingly are more books set up in this one, because as mentioned I am so here for Viking wolf shifters.

I love a good psycho and Rina Kent delivers. I devoured this book, while at work all I could think about was getting home to read more.

Killian is not the kind of man you want to love. And you certainly don’t want him to put you in his sights. But that’s exactly what happens to Glyndon. Their relationship was an intense give and take, with much less give on Kill’s part. He is unhinged and completely morally black. And I loved it.

There’s no unaliving, which I know some prefer their psychos to have that. But there’s a point to it, I think it was intentional on Kent’s behalf.

The spice is SPICY. If you don’t like DNC/CNC or anything rough, this is not the book for you.  There are a host of triggers, please check the warnings.

Over all this was a great book, I absolutely recommend it to my dark lovers, there’s great banter, violence and a tiny smidge of emotion.

Just when I think I can’t love a book more, God of Fury hits me straight in the heart.

We know Bran and Niko from previous books, but this is all about their obsession driven love story. General premise, Niko sees Bran, wants Bran, chases Bran until he can’t say no. They go through their push snd pull before they at least become f*ck buddies, after Bran finally admits the attraction.  These boys go through the wringer. There’s hiding from the public, fighting their own demons and then fighting each other’s demons. It’s absolutely a hard won HEA. But it’s so freaking beautiful when they get there.

This book definitely has mental health reps and takes you down sone darker roads with it. There’s sone very emotional moments that I wasn’t expecting from this book, but which made it that much better.

This book is a true enemies to lovers depiction, my absolute favorite. Nikolai and Brandon have amazing chemistry. The spice is so so very nice. It’s written in a way that’s true to their character but leaves you fanning yourself and wanting more.

There are tons of triggers, violence, mm smut, self harm reference, mental health issues. So make sure you check beforehand. I cannot recommend this book enough. It’s absolutely a book I’ll be reading reading in the future.

Holy cow, I am amazed.

I came into this book thinking ‘alright a MM smutty book I can read through and be good’. This book is so much more. Don’t get me wrong, there’s still some AMAZING smut, but that’s not what the book centers around.

Avi and Kyran spend their late teens growing up together. There’s animosity and dislike on both sides. They end up both going to the same college and the hate and distaste goes with them. They end up having to work together after plans fall through.

This book takes that and makes it a way to address real issues that matter. It highlights the struggle and what it can be like to recover. How the dawn comes after the darkest night.

All in all, read this book. It’s well over amazing.

Ok, I’ve just started dipping my toe into monster romance, and this was recommended. Holy mother am I glad I listened and dived in.

The story grabs your attention instantly. You start with Danny and his realization he’s just become cannon fodder. The military is hunting down the impossible to catch and kill Soul Eater, Wyn. After a series of events leads them to be traveling companions, love is in the air.

It’s hard for me to imagine that this is Lily Mayne’s debut novel. The world building and back story is so well written, you can imagine yourself in this world. It’s depicted so clearly and beautifully. There is angst, violence, compassion, and love, so much love. And don’t forget the hot, hot spice you will find in this book.

Wyn and Danny work hard for their love, and there’s a meddling giant purple monster (I see you Edin) who ‘helps’. You truly get to see them build and learn to see each other, to see past the titles ‘human’ and ‘monster’.

I am so glad I took the plunge and am super excited to continue on in this universe

I was incredibly excited for the second book in the series, duology?  But NOTHING prepared me for the master piece Lockwood has given us.

We start off right in the action. Percy is up to his shenanigans and Sweet Joe is along for the ride, making everything harder than it needs to be.  The story grabs you by the collar, shoved you in a seat and takes you on a wild ride. But damn is it a good one.

We get some exciting paranormal adventures, ghosts, zombies, the likes. We get Leo and Althea!  I was so glad to see them again. And of course, we’re finishing what we started in the first book.

Joe and Percy’s love, I want a love like that. We really get to see just how far they would go for each other and how true their bond is. If there is ever a thing as soulmates, it’s them, no hesitation.

The spice is just as good as the first book. But let me tell you there is a church scene that left me feeling unholy just for reading. It was beyond hot. Maybe one of the hottest I’ve read in a while. Along with the ‘I’m your God’ scene. Lockwood tried to kill me with the heat this book is packing.

This is absolutely a must read and takes a top spot for the year. I really hope the series continues, I need more of these men in my life
