DNF. Despite all the leather and muscles I found it boring.

I'm a sucker for mythology, especially Greek mythology. This book is a really great read to get the lay of the land. But I do strongly suggest researching your favorite tales cause bulfinch tends to give the g rated version.

First let me say that I frigg'n LOVE Kamir and wanted nothing more than to embrace Kamir in a hug. In fact I kind of didn't give a damn about the politics happening with the other country. I only cared about Kamir. That being said I feel like this book kind of mind-fucked me concerning genders. From the first book I thought mpreg was a thing but this book explains there are like 2 genders, your physical and your mental. But your mental gender is like what matters. And guys I thought were guys were actually girls and vise versa. I just felt totally thrown, which was very disconcerting given that this is the THIRD book of the series. I shouldn't feel shaken with the world's dynamics at the third book. That's like first book stuff.
Did I mention I love Kamir? I love characters like that. The kind that suffer with quiet dignity and thinks nobody loves them, but its just their too humble to see the love.
The Winter Courtship Rituals of Fur-Bearing Critters by Amy Lane

This was a short but cute read. As fluffy as alpaca wool mixed with rabbit fur. My only critic is that I learned waayyyy more about the yarn making process than ever necessary. Like seriously Amy Lane, I get it making yarn is complex. Get back to the awkward flirting! Anyways. Still cute. Has 1 hot scene at the end and also a guide on how to make your very own cock-cozie. Pouch for ball sac included.
How to Be a Movie Star by TJ Klune

3.5 stars. I should mention that I did not read the prequel How to be a Normal Person. Also I'm a bit of a prude with stuff like weed. But it sounds like the MC's would respect my prudiness.
Anyways. Josy, our MC, is a very random and special individual who likes to get high. A LOT. In fact sometimes he annoyed me so much I wanted to smack the THC out of his hands and tell him to focus for 2 seconds. Grr. But then he'd lay out his heart and be all sweet and pretty much make me swoon.
Quincy was a bit of an odd duck as well. Suffering through depression and some mental issues he writes monster porn and encourages people to get out of their shell, knowing first hand how hard depression makes that. He becomes like a weird idol for the socially challenged which I think is some kind of ironic. Sometimes his rants got tedious. Other times he had me balling my eyes out with girly tears.
I'm demisexual myself so it was refreshing to read about one. I really like how TJ Klune respects the whole spectrum of sexuality. This book made me laugh and got me in the feels. So overall, thumbs up. I only rate is so low because Josy's nonsensical thoughts and Quincy's overly emotional thoughts got tedious for me at times.
