Docked 1/4 star because I did not love the ending, I wanted more from it

everything else about the book was incredible! incredible and accurate representation! Incredible writing! I really felt what Mickey was feeling!!

I'm gonna preface this by saying I am taking this whole thing way to seriously and if youre looking for something goofy and gay youre in the right place.

I am all for morally questionable characters but I kind of feel like book is morally questionable. Theres a scene where someone does something that honestly wasnt that bad and the repercussion for it was so so sever for no reason at all and it was generally viewed and deemed an appropriate response and I just couldnt really get passed that. Also the characters were a little bit difficult to like.

All that being said, some of it was really cute and if youre looking at reading it I dont think any of the things I listed are reasons to not read it. I dont think its necessarily an objectively bad book but it did tik off a lot of my bookish pet peeves so it was very much not for me

I had a pretty good time reading this. I found a lot of the writing really funny and enjoyable. Think like, the hitchhikers guide to the universe style but much darker and more intense. If youre looking to have a good time while also not having a clue what the fuck is going on then youll enjoy this book

realistically its probably more like a four because the writing felt a little bit rushed. Some of the dialogue was a little off and some parts were difficult to follow. Also worth noting the flaws in different copies obviously, but I just dont see any book in this series ranking less than a five in my heart. The plot was still there and the characters are still lovable and my heart is still broken

I genuinely really liked this book but it lost a lot of points for me because of one character that was heavily autistic coded being a really bad attempt at representation.
