More of a memoir than a self help book. Did not care for her story. Also she sounded very privileged which made it hard to connect with.

Unfortunately, this one wasn’t for me. I had a hard time connecting with the characters, and I’m not a fan of the miscommunication trope, which this book had a lot of. Plus, there were quite a few unanswered questions by the end that left me feeling a bit unsatisfied. That said… the cover is super pretty, so at least it’ll still look cute on my shelf!

Woah. This was nothing like the other CoHo books I’ve read. Such a wild, unique story that really made me think. I’m not typically one for paranormal anything but I surprisingly enjoyed this book!

This book totally took me back to my younger days. ✨ Old friendships, new ones, life lessons, and some serious self-discovery—it had all the good stuff. 🫶🏼 I loved the full-circle moment at the end. I do wish we got a little more on some of the other characters who weren’t part of the ending. But overall, such a fun and nostalgic read! 🤗

Just finished this ARC, and wow- what a ride! 😳 This small-town crime thriller follows a group of childhood friends, each carrying their own secrets… until a few are murdered and others are psychologically tortured. With so many characters, I was constantly second-guessing who to trust, and it kept me on my toes until the very end! Such a strong debut novel, and I’m so excited I got to read it early. Keep an eye out for this one, it hits shelves on April 14! 🤗

What a amazing debut novel! Hillary and Jackson’s second chance love story had me hooked from the start. The way the book flips between the present and their college days made their relationship feel so real. And the supporting characters?! I already need their stories ASAP! Such a great read… I can’t wait for more from this series!

Wow, what a powerful read. This book, like The Hate U Give, is one that everyone should read. It explores racial injustice, systemic oppression, and the challenges young Black men face in the American legal system. It’s raw, real, and deeply moving… a story that will stay with me for a long time. Angie Thomas has such a way of bringing these important themes to life in a way that feels personal and urgent. If you haven’t read this one yet, add it to your list.

I loved it! The story was so engaging and the banter was perfect. As for the twist… I had a suspicion, but it still hit! Such a unique and emotional read… I totally see why so many people love this book. I’m left wondering what Maddy does with the rest of her life…

What an inspiring read. It was so interesting to learn about her past, her journey, and everything she overcame to become the incredible woman she is today. Her drive, resilience, and determination are beyond inspiring.

This book was such a fun modern twist on Pride and Prejudice! The enemies-to-lovers trope, the cute teenage love story, and the way it explored cultural differences all made this a really enjoyable read. It was also the perfect book to kick off Black History Month! Highly recommend if you’re looking for a fresh take on a classic with important themes woven in.
