This book tackled racism and the experiences of being Black in America in such a thought-provoking way. The ending had me gasping, and the epilogue hit just as hard. This story made me sad, but more than that, it made me want to stand up and do more against injustice. Books like this are important—they open eyes, start conversations, and remind us why we have to keep pushing for change.

It took me a bit to really get into it, but once I did, I was hooked. That said, the ending left me feeling a little disappointed.

This story was so heartbreaking, and I shed a lot of tears along the way. 😭 I loved the mix of past and present POVs… it brought everything together perfectly. If you are looking for a tragic love story, this is it. 💔

I spent the day flying, so of course, I devoured the whole book—classic travel vibes! ✈️📚 And it was another Freida McFadden thriller, so you know I never saw the ending coming. Classic Freida! 😱 It was such a good read and kept me hooked the entire time.

It’s going to take some time to recover from this one. 🥹 This book was such a beautiful story about love, loss, and forgiveness, and it completely wrecked me in the best way. I cried so much. 😭

My first 5 star read of the year! ✨ I absolutely loved it! 🥹 It’s a rom-com that’s real, raw, and unafraid to tackle mental health and life’s messy realities. I laughed, I cried, and I couldn’t put it down. Such an amazing read that I know will stay with me for a long time. 🫶🏼

Honestly? It’s stuff we’ve all heard before—but with way more sass. 😂 I enjoyed the humor and the no-nonsense style. Short, to the point, and definitely made me think. 💭

This was my 5th Freida McFadden book this year, and like always, I was hooked and flew right through it. The twist was wild, and the epilogue totally caught me off guard. The characters, though? Kind of annoying. 😅 Still, it was such a fun read!

Just finished reading my first ARC last night, and wow, it was so good! 🤗 The book was a fast-paced, romantic suspense with an enemies-to-lovers story and some seriously spicy scenes that kept me hooked from start to finish. And I absolutely love the dual POV. I even dreamt about it overnight—it’s that kind of book! 🫶🏼 Even though it was the second in a series, the story did an amazing job filling in the gaps so I didn’t feel lost. That said, I definitely want to go back and read the first book now to learn more about the characters who were mentioned. If you’re into romance with a some heat and a lot of heart, definitely add this one to your TBR for when it comes out! 📚

Ps. If you’re a swiftie, I keep thinking of Imgonnagetyouback 🫶🏼
