Day 21 by Kass Morgan

I started reading this straight after I finished the first Book and it was just as addictive to read. It continued straight where the other Book left off and had small reminders of what happened previously to jog your memory. It was the same length as the first Book-Maybe even slightly shorter. It followed the same characters as the first Book; Clarke, Wells, Bellamy and Glass-Which was slightly disappointing, as it would have been nice to hear more from some of the other characters as well. Clarke's chapters are still my favourites to read-I feel like she has more depth than the others. But Wells is a close second. The plot was again, quite different to the T.V show, but following the same, loose plot overall. There were again, plenty of plot twists and it ended on a cliffhanger like the first Book. I felt like the way that the characters emotions were expressed had improved this time, but that this Book felt like more like a part of the first Book, rather than a second Book. I'm going to read the third Book to catch up completely-But I am hoping to get a bit more from it than this one.

The way this Book was written was very different to anything that I have read before and so it took a bit longer for me to get in to it. It changes narrative at the beginning, the descriptions and language is quite basic and there are little things like no capital letters at the beginning of chapter names that I found jarring. I like the way that it is split into parts and the length of the chapters depends on what is going on. I love Books about Witches and Magic and the concept of good and evil and so I enjoyed this Book. The plot did drag at bit at times, but once you get to know Nathan's story and other characters are introduced, then it picks up a lot. I liked Nathan and Gabriel and their relationship, but I did not feel as much of a connection with most of the other characters. I liked how harsh it could get, especially for Nathan-Anything bad that happened and its effects on the characters, whether physical or emotional was addressed. I've almost finished reading the next Book; Half Wild (which has Half Lies at the end as well) and it is even better. :)

I enjoyed this Book even more than Half Bad. It went straight into the action and for the most part stayed that way throughout the Book. There was better pacing, dialogue and character development. There were more characters and the way that Nathan and Gabriel's relationship developed was great. But I found Nathan and Annalise's relationship annoying and more like a necessity due to the plot, more than anything else. A lot more happened, generally speaking, in this Book, and I am looking forward to see how it all concludes in Half Lost next year. :) I have also just finished reading Half Lies, which was included at the end of my copy of Half Wild. :)

I read this straight after Half Wild-As it was in the back of my copy. :) It was short (obviously, being a Novella), but sweet, innocent, sad and nice to read something from another perspective. I liked the Diary entry format and finding out more about Gabriel from the point of view of Michele, his Sister, someone who loved him and knew him well. I am glad that I have a lot of other Books that I want to read-As I will miss this world for the next 10 months! :(

I really enjoyed this Book. The plot was really good, I connected with most of the characters & the writing was really good too. I like a Book that's rough, real & sweary!
I enjoyed all of the different perspectives as well-I wasn't expecting that. I'm looking forward to seeing how the Book's been adapted into a Film-It looks good.
I wasn't entirely satisfied with the ending...But then there's another 2 Books in the series, so who knows what may occur?

I really enjoyed this Book! Granted, it's a slow burner to begin with-Clearly building up to something that you know will be massive & you're therefore impatient to find out about! But damn, when you do, then it's both great & horrible in equal measures!
If you've read & enjoyed The 5th Wave, then I recommend that you continue with this series-Just be patient & trust that it'll pay off...Because it really does.
The next & last Book in the Series; The Last Star's coming out in just over a week & I can't wait to see how everything ends up!

I bought this as part of a 2 for £7 deal-As something extra/Different to my usual choice of genre. I hadn't read a Thriller/Horror in ages & thought that this Book sounded intriguing.
I enjoyed reading about something set in the present, with adult language & themes for a change {I read a lot of YA/NA usually}! Also something that was full of uncertainties & quite spooky-It had me glancing nervously around a few times whilst I was reading it!
There were a few things that weren't fully explained by the end, which I found a bit frustrating-& the ending, although good, felt a bit sudden to me, after all of that building up...
But overall, it was quite good-& I'm definitely going to give some more of Peter James's Books a go now.

I started re-watching Charmed the T.V show again recently & remembered that I still hadn't read this-Despite having had it for ages!
It didn't take me long to read, once I got used to the style-As I haven't read a Comic Book in ages!
I love the imagery-The Book of Shadows catch up in the beginning is great & the second Artist, Marcio Abreu, is my favourite out of the 2 main Artists featured. As the characters resemble the actresses a bit more & the style is more realistic-Especially body wise!
The plot was just like an episode of the T.V show, as was the dialogue-Corny moments {From both sides} & all!
I also enjoyed the Bonus Prelude Story & the Cover Gallery at the end. I love the Issue 2 Cover A Wraparound by Greg Horn-Beautiful!
I'm blatantly biased, as I love all things Charmed, but this is still a great Comic Book!
