Saoirse is very much a rebellious teenager but I understand why she would act like that. The characters felt very real in that sense. Oliver might have actually been one of my favourite characters by the way, I really liked Saoirse and his talk at his last mentioned party.
The book deals with very heavy topics which I certainly hadn't expected but I think it was dealt with respectfully and I really enjoyed the book.
Graphic: Dementia

Lovely book, I got it as an eBook but I'm certain it would be even more beautiful as a real book to hold in your hands.
The only reason I took 0.25 off of the ratings is that in some of the artwork the characters look a bit off from the, well, "real deal"; but honestly, it doesn't really matter that much and it is seriously stunning art.

The one thing that comes through the most is just how incredibly passionate everyone working on this has been about making Good Omens and it's so lovely to read about their enthusiasm. Also very touching when Terry Pratchett is discussed, I definitely shed some tears there.
Definitely recommend it to die hard fans! :)

This book is not going to be your cup of tea if you want action but if you like nice dialogues and iconic characters who are all totally flawed but also totally awesome, give it a try.

At the start a lot of characters get introduced (I wrote them all down with descriptions so I'd remember lol) so I was kind of anxious that that would happen with all the stories (4 parts), but luckily they all played bigger parts in the rest of the book (and not many more were introduced after story 1)
I was mostly annoyed by the overexplaining of things, infodumps and sometimes unnecessary repeating of things that already happened. A recap can be nice for some but it somewhat annoyed me.
It was however a very emotional and beautiful read and I was pleasantly surprised by this book. At first you think the stories probably won't be connected but it turns out they are and I'm glad that the workers in the cafe had a way bigger role in the book than I expected at first.
Definitely recommend but bring tissues because you will need them!

Very philosophical and reflective, not much really "happens" but that did not bother me in the slightest. Just mentioning it for people who might not like that type of book ;) I definitely want to revisit this book in a few years.
Moderate: Animal cruelty, Death, Suicide, and Grief
