Not easy to get in but once I was in, I was enchanted by the prose. Lovely writing, very touching and it felt very real. I have no clue if parts were autobiographical but it sure felt like it might.
Very philosophical and reflective, not much really "happens" but that did not bother me in the slightest. Just mentioning it for people who might not like that type of book ;) I definitely want to revisit this book in a few years.

Such a nice read. I was 9 pages in when I started wondering if the main character was autistic (being autistic myself). I'm pretty sure about it, although it seems to not have been officially confirmed. I really liked the ending of this book and how she is so unconditionally herself.

I dont think I've ever read a book quite like this. Books/movies about robots aren't unique per se but something about this book, something about Klara, was very special and touching to me. I thoroughly enjoyed it and was very intrigued by the story. It was also a surprisingly emotional read at the end, I definitely shed some tears. Some great writing!

When I saw the cover of this graphic novel I was already in love! The artwork is phenomenal! The storyline isn't anything wild I'd say, but I was still interested to see how it would end. Had a great time reading this.

You Will Get Through This Night by Daniel Howell

4.5

I picked this book up because I've been a fan of Daniel Howell for about 7 years now; so I was very excited to hear that he had written a book with a psychologist about mental health. I think it's a genuinely good book. It covers a lot of themes, gives a lot of tips that you can apply to your daily life immediately and it's written in a very kind, funny and understanding way (as the author does have depression himself). I've had therapy for a while so I was familiar with about 75% of the tips and things to look out for but if you're just starting to get to know more about mental health and how to improve it, I think this would be a great book for that. So I definitely recommend!

Very interesting topic, I've read some news articles about how traumatizing work like this (content moderator) can be so this book seemed really interesting. I guess that it is more centered around the characters and how they deal with it (also very much about the main characters love life) but still, quite interesting.
It did end a bit abruptly though, still not sure what to think of it all. I do think all of the characters have just become so desensitised because of their job and that would explain some things they do/say/think.

Nice informative book that definitely inspired me to go on another declutter. I've read a lot of books about decluttering and minimalism already so not everything was that new of a concept to me but there were still a lot of useful things in this book.
Also a really nice touch is the summary at the ending - very minimalistic to do such a thing lol ;)

Read a book quite like this not so long ago so I want to continue this book another time.
The challenge is also not really something I can do right now so I'll definitely try to do it another time, perhaps next year.
