Thief's Theme: A Love Story by M. a. N.

Ji is a thief nicknamed Merc for how fast he is. He also has magical skills that make him the best thief in the world. The only thing Ji cared about other than stealing was his best friend Shar who happens to be a cop. I really enjoyed this story. I was confused in the beginning because the writing isn't like anything I've read before but overall I loved the way that it was written. It is a love story that I think many people would enjoy.

I’ve seen this book around youtube a lot and I really wanted to read it. After reading this 3 chapter sneak peek all I can say is I NEED THE WHOLE THING!! The first chapter of the book was great and got right to the point. I think that I am going to really like Devon. He seems like a really sweet boy so far and I can't wait to read more of his POV. Chiamaka seems like she's going to be a super-smart mean girl. I can't wait to read the whole book to see how their paths will cross.

I absolutely loved this book. This book was way more than what I thought it was going to be and raised my standards for YA fantasies. The book was complex with amazing world-building, characters, and an amazing magic system. I even guessed what was going to happen later in the book but was still surprised when it happened. I would recommend this book to everybody.

I give this book a 3.5. I really liked it but the ending wants what I expected and the beginning was so slow. But overall I thought it was a great book. I really liked Stevie as the main character and the author did a good job at describing Anxiety. My favorite side character was Nate.
