▪️Let me just start by saying that while the author is Lebanese which means his first language isn't English, this book was perfectly written, the narration is gripping, its neither fast nor slow paced just on point! I stayed on edge the whole damn book! I wish the chapters were a bit shorter tho.

▪️To everyone who’s familiar with my account know that i prefer to read romance, so to give a 𝐃𝐞𝐛𝐮𝐭 & 𝐓𝐡𝐫𝐢𝐥𝐥𝐞𝐫 𝐧𝐨𝐯𝐞𝐥 5 stars is a big deal!

▪️The Story takes place in Avas where a naked injured man was found on the streets with no memory (sort of ), he’s out on a quest to learn the truth about who he is and where he came from. But just when things appear to be falling into place, a series of twist and turns comes to view and believe me when i say “ u won’t see it coming “

▪️I LOVED The main character ( i wont say his name cz this will spoil a part of the story) he was so smart, cunning and unpredictable. The alternation from the present to the past was so smooth, and the story building was vivid like, the author wanted us to feel as we were living IN the story.

▪️I liked the other characters too, all of them were well developed, each with fascinating backstory, no one of them was irrelevant.

▪️Finally i’m really proud to read this kind of book knowing that its author is a rising Lebanese one.

🖤PS: Its the first book of a series and it ends on a cliffhanger ( A strong one 🤧 )

🌲Maelyn jones and her family spend Christmas in a Utah cabin with their friends every year. This Christmas she drank alcoholic eggnog and ends up kissing her crush’s brother, on their way back home on December 26 Maelyn asks the universe for a wish, and BOOM the magic begins!

🌲Okay so the time travel part was a good idea, i loved this concept but it was a bit repetitive at first. But after the 2nd “death” of Mae i laughed and smiled my way through the entire book.

🌲It was a fast and easy read and it ended with an epilogue that had all of my hopes and dreams swirling together

🌲I wasn’t a big fan of Andrew at first, but as the story progressed i grew to LOVE him, He was charming, sweet and thoughtful.
Mae was sassy, funny and oddly vulnerable as well as a people pleaser.
Benny was my favorite side character, he was their parent’s best friend who warmed my heart and made feel like Mae was safe. he was someone she could trust during these crazy times.

🌲The best advice this book delivered was : we should shed our fears and seize our happiness, life is too short!

🌲 I believe this book will attract younger audience like 20-something

🔸Did i read the same book as everyone else?

🔸I love Taylor, and i really enjoyed her other books but this? its just wasn’t for me at all and i think it didn’t deserve the hype (Sorry everyone)

🔸All the characters felt half developed and kind of irrelevant, i didn’t care about daisy and any of the six 🙈 the only character i liked was Camila, she deserved better! Daisy was a total brat, spoiled and mean and Belly was a jerk and a control freak, the others were just there to fill up the pages🤷🏽‍♀️

🔸I didn’t like the fact that cheating was so normalized in this book, there was barely any consequences to it!

🔸The book is told through interviews and is very character oriented meaning that there is basically no actual objective to the plot
this choice of narration didn’t work for me
i was bored to the point i skipped some paragraphs ( a lot)

🔸It has some good quotes and some funny bits in it but that’s all

This is the fastest review i write, i started this book yesterday finished it in exactly 8h and here i’m posting my review!

This book is definitely the 𝒉𝒆𝒂𝒗𝒊𝒆𝒔𝒕 CoHo book i’ve read, Its absolutely brutal! She portrayed the hardest thing a women can go through with raw honesty.

The story follows Quinn a women who is struggling with infertility that leads her to depression and causes a rift in her marriage with Graham. It was fast read, and it alternates between “then” and “Now”.
The “Then” chapters filled me with love and warmth, when they were both in their twenties, their love was epic. The “Now” chapters is seven years into their marriage, dealing with everything to keep their marriage afloat, every time i saw “Now” i wished i could just crawl into a ball and hide, you definitely need a book buddy to survive these chapters, they were heartbreaking!

The characters were interesting with great development and backstory. Their relationship feels so real, it isn’t romanticized or glorified, it really sheds light on how a marriage requires work in order to thrive no matter how big the love is.

Colleen got me questioning a topic i normally don’t even think twice about! 𝒄𝒉𝒆𝒂𝒕𝒊𝒏𝒈, in my opinion cheating is never okay, never justified and never forgiven but while reading this book,I could understand why Quinn forgave him and i couldn’t fault her.

And i’m thankful that Quinn’s mother is not mine, man i hated that lady!!

PS: If you get annoyed by miscommunication and plots driven by characters who avoid to talk to each other, then you’ll get rly frustrated by this book
