A Court of Mist and Fury is the second book in the ACOTAR series. After reading the first book, I felt so-so about the series; however, after this book I am COMPLETELY IN!

Let me address my big elephant in the room: Feyre. I strongly disliked her in the first book. By the end, I tolerated her. Now, I get it. I absolutely love her. She is everything everyone said. So okay, I admit I was wrong about her.

In my opinion, this second book is the beginning of a love story. It is also the build up to a war. I don’t want to give too much away to anyone who hasn’t read the series. All I can say, is if you love fantasy or even if it isn’t your favorite, I could see you falling in love with this series. It has a little bit of everything for everyone. This book is just so much more than first!

People We Meet On Vacation was one of my @bookofthemonth choices for April that I finally have gotten a chance to pick up and read. I will say that it was a perfect summer read, as it is set during the summer throughout the last ten years or so as best friends, Alex and Poppy, take a vacation each year. No matter what is going on in their lives, these two best friends always made time for the Summer Trip. Two years ago; however, something happened which leaves the reader guess what could’ve possibly happened to these two friends that ended this tradition and completely destroyed their friendship.

If you are looking for a quick, quirky, cute, friends to lover Thorpe, summer read then look no further than People We Meet On Vacation. I personally liked the book, but I can’t say I loved it. There is a decision that you find out Alex makes which I find very questionable. I’m still flabbergasted over it, if I’m being totally honest. Also I found Poppy to be extremely frustrating at times with her decision making. How she would say she didn’t know what she wanted although she would basically say a minute before that what she wanted. Hello! Wake up! It’s obvious! Overall, it was a cute story.
