I absolutely LOVED this book! The characters are so relatable, Naya's struggles with DV hit home for me, and Naya's and Jake's love story is realistic and adorable.

Naya is extremely relatable to me. She is a fierce, intelligent woman. I appreciated that Denise Williams wrote her as such because of her struggle with past DV. It shows readers that DV can happen to anyone. It doesn't happen to just women who are "weak" or "dumb" or whatever other stereotypical response you can think of. Please be vigilant not only of our relationship, but the relationships of those closest to you. Jake's unhealthy past relationship is also discussed. Not just women can experience DV.

I highly recommend this book to everyone. Denise Williams has officially become an instant read/buy for me! I can't wait to read more from her.

Book four of The Crave Series picks up right where book three left us. Grace, Hudson, and the rest of the gang are still shocked by their school being empty of all the students and adults. They know it must be Cyrus, and they are correct.

In the fourth book of the series, Grace discovers more about her past, learns more about the gargoyle court, and have to work together to stop Cyrus from changing the world as we know it. We meet new characters, and are reconnected with beloved characters of the past books.

Each book in The Crave series gets better and better! As I said before if you love monsters, Alaska, dramatic fight scene, and soul mate connections, then this book series is for you! Book 5 and 6 coming soon! I can't wait!

I loved this debut novel. The Family is a story about friendship, secrets, love, mystery, and corruption. It's centered around the lives of two best friends, Antonia & Sophia, from 1928-1948. It tells the story of how they grew up together and within the wall of the "family", an Italian mafia group which is lead initially by a man only known as Uncle Tony. The girls face dilemmas together including the death of Antonia's father, the rise of Sophia's father to power, falling in love with family men, building a family, having children, and choosing a career path.

The writing of this novel was captivating. I highly recommend the audio of this one. I also loved that this mafia, historical fiction centered around women instead of men. Unique Perspective!

I enjoyed this one. It was a page turner and I kept wanting to know what happened next. This made it a very fast, enjoyable thriller read.

The only problem I had was that I didn't really LIKE any of the characters. Since they were unlikeable, it was hard to feel remorse or compassion for any of them. This didn't stop me from wanting to know what was going to happen though.

I also felt like the twists and turns in this one were not completely obvious. I didn't see the ending; however, I was still a little disappointed in it because I felt like it had been written before.

Overall, I would definitely recommend this one to all the thriller lovers. I think it is enticing and will keep you on your toes, regardless of my complaints. It was a solid 4 star book for me.

I absolutely loved this book. It is perfection. 🥺

Cindy is so relatable. As someone who has struggled with my weight my entire life, I have never felt so connected to a character before. Her struggles, were my struggles. They were things that I had experienced or worried about or sadly, felt embarrassed about myself. I loved that she was so confident in her skin and it made me feel like I should be more confident in mine.

I also loved that Julie took the whole "step mother" and "step sisters" of the traditional Cinderella story and made it so positive. I loved Cindy's relationship with Drew and Anna.

The spin of Cindy being on a show like the Bachelor also 100% sucked me right in! My guilty pleasure is reality tv love shows. At this point, my husband is even suckered into watching them with me. So seeing someone like Cindy on a show like that was really awesome to read about. Frustrating at times too.

I love how this book presents body positivity. I am also even more excited that this is just the first in the series! I can't wait to read more!

I went into this book blind. I have heard a lot of positive things about Backman's writing and have been wanting to read one of this books. This just happened to be the first one that I picked up. I did not read the synopsis or really anything, I just started reading.

At first, I thought this story was just about a hockey town in Sweden. Backman jumps around quickly from person to person within the town. I initially struggled to keep track of everyone, even though the plot was slow moving.

As the book continues, you come to realize that it was so much more than just a book about hockey. It is heavy, deep, and beautifully written. I became captivated by his characters, and soon became invested in each one of them. The problems that I had at the beginning, ended up being my favorite things about this book in the end.

I look forward to continuing to read this series.🏒

This book was so much fun! I loved the characters, the setting, all of it!

I found Lila to be absolutely hilarious. She is totally a girl after my own heart! I also loved her relationship with her best friend, Adeena. The love triangle that was heating up between Lila, Dr. Jae the Dentist, and Amir the lawyer was also fun and I can't wait to read more about it!

I am super excited this is just the first book in this series. The second book, Homicide and Halo-Halo, was just published on 2/8/22 and I can't wait to get my hands on it so I can continue Lila's story.

Also I wanted to note how much I appreciated the trigger warnings in the author's note at the beginning of this book. I think Mia truly understands and cares about her readers. I strongly suggest you read this before diving in.

This is definitely not a series you want to miss! Be warned, do not read on an empty stomach!

Thank you to Netgalley, Swift & Lewis Publishing, and Sarah Ready for an advanced e-ARC and audio-ARC of this book in exchange for my honest review.

This book filled me with so much joy. 🥰 I absolutely LOVED it! Gemma is so relatable, and Josh is perfection too. I truly loved every second of this book.
This is perfect read for the month of February too! 💞 I would not hesitate to highly recommend this book to all the romance lovers out there. Gemma and Josh are definitely a couple who deserve a place with the best of the best!

I also had the opportunity to listen to the audio of this book as well. I thought the narrative did a fantastic job. If audio is your jam, than this is a great audiobook to add this month!

This is such a beautiful story.

Adam Silvera tells such a touching and memorable story about living. Mateo and Rufus come from such different backgrounds, but they come together to create a perfect finale duo. Their final day is told in under twenty four hours, but the character development in both of these character go through is huge. Even with the ending spoiled in the title, you will find yourself rooting for these two and hoping for a different ending.

This is truly a life changing story. I have heard nothing but wonderful things about this book, and it 100% lives up to the hype. Adam Silvera has become a must read author for me. You will not be disappointed in this one.

Wow! Things are really heating up in this one! If you thought Crush was intense, it is nothing compared to Covet!

I really have appreciated the character growth that each character has made since Crave. It is crazy to think that it has only been a sixth months total in all three of these books.

Grace continues to learn more and more about her Gargoyle, about her Mate, and about the supernatural world. Now that she has proven to be apart of The Circle, things are only becoming more and more complicated. Especially since Cyrus, The Vampire King, will do whatever it takes to keep her from her coronation. With the school year ending and graduation on horizon, things heat up even more for Grace and her friends.

Needless to say I am completed addicted to this series! Thank goodness book four was just released! I'm also super excited that there are two more books being released this year. This is definitely not your ordinary Vampire series! So if you haven't started this series, what are you waiting for?
