If you liked the Red Zone Rivals series but are a hockey girlie at heart this book is for you! It packs all the spicy sports goodness that series had but with a dash of angst and a side of hockey. I loved this book, it delivered on banter and spice. Vince is the perfect mix of cocky and sweet. He loves goading Maven and pushing her buttons. I enjoyed seeing his depth revealed overtime to Maven and how he continuously proved her assumptions wrong. Maven’s struggles around commitment from her last relationship were a realistic barrier. Honorable mention to the entire team- they had a fun dynamic and I loved seeing them all joke around with each other. I need a Daddy P book asap. I am so excited to continue on with this series!

I really enjoyed this sweet and spicy hockey romance. I loved Pippa and Jamie. They really cared about each other and found little ways to support each other. It was fun seeing their respective high school crushes come right back to the surface and how they tried to fight their desire. Don’t let the cartoon cover fool you the second half of this book is spicy! Honorable mention to the side characters- I’m excited to read Rory and Hazel’s book next but I also need a book for Hayden and one for Jordan. The hockey romance girlies will eat this up!

This book in true slow burn fashion had a super slow pace in the start. I felt that not much happened in the first 35% of the book. I do think this book could’ve accomplished the same things even if it was a little shorter. That being said I did enjoy the story. William is very sweet he is constantly doting on Charlie. Charlie can be shy and insecure (understandably so!). They balance each other nicely. I loved the scenes where she meets his family my favorite part of the book. The final conflict was a bit frustrating because there was no need for such poor communication until the gesture. It seemed out of place since both characters had been communicating openly. I would recommend this book to fans of slow burns featuring a sweet MMC.

If you like the movie The Lake House this book is for you! I enjoyed reading this book, it sort of feels like a hug. I loved the parts of “past” Iwan speaking about food. He’s so passionate, he has a way of romanticizing food. Definitely left me craving some lemon pie. I wish there was more closure for Clementine’s character development we don’t get to see her find her passion and regain her happiness other than coupling up with Iwan in the present. . Her development fell a little flat I wanted more. I also wish we got more scenes with Aunt Analea (like through Clementine’s memories). She was such a pivotal person to Clementine and I wanted to see more of their relationship. Despite this I enjoyed the book and would recommend it.

Looking for a fun spicy af Vegas wedding romance? You’re in the right place! This book delivers on the banter, humor, and spice. You’ll find yourself smiling, laughing, and blushing are you read. I loved Eleanor and Crew. They have this magnetic connection right from the start and they love to tease each other. They are so cute together. I’m a sucker for the Vegas wedding trope, I just love when they both are in love and obsessed with their new life together but won’t admit it to themselves or each other. Honorable mention to the side characters- Sami, Millie, TJ, and Nate (especially TJ and Nate if you know you know). I recommend this book for fans of the movie What Happens in Vegas.

Pop culture girlies unite, this one is for you! I really enjoyed reading this book. It’s a smart commentary on how the media treated young women in the 2000’s and how their male colleagues sold them out for their own success. I was hooked and invested from the start. There are some fun twists along the way as well. While you mainly get Kat’s point of view you do get tidbits from the other costars. That on top of the dual timelines and media snippets really enhances the story. I appreciated the drama but I felt that the pacing was a little slow at times. I recommend this book for fans of Once More With Feeling by Elissa Sussman and Open Book by Jessica Simpson.

Name a better way to celebrate the 4th of July other than reading a romance between the president and a secret service agent? I liked the twist on the bodyguard trope. I will say this book did not need to be 400+ pages long. The first chunk of the book was quite slow paced which made it harder to get into the story. Things don’t pick up until around 75% in. I did enjoy the book. It’s balanced between pining/forbidden romance with sneaking around and a political espionage/treason plot line. I would recommend this book for someone looking for a books that is like The Bodyguard meets The West Wing with a dash of Scandal.

After enjoying book 2 I backtracked and read book 1. It was a little lengthy, she doesn’t become the nanny until like 36% into the book! Despite that once I got into the story enjoyed it. Lark’s sunshine attitude is the perfect match for our grumpy coach Wyatt. Penny is so cute and I loved her dynamics with Wyatt and Lark. Honorable mention to the college football players who stayed at the house for the summer too- a fun twist to the single dad nanny trope. While this book doesn’t have a breakup or a major conflict, I think the 3rd act plot leading to the grand gesture was very realistic based on the characters personalities. We love a grand gesture at an airport! I would recommend this book for smalls of small town romances with grumpy single dads.

I read the synopsis for this book and immediately downloaded it to my kindle and I have no regrets. I enjoyed this one- small town, brother’s best friend/ex-boyfriend’s brother with a sprinkle of forced proximity. It was fun seeing how Kate and Beckett’s relationship evolve from antagonistic button pushing banter to more. We love a small town spicy moment! I actually skipped book one in the series so can confirm this can be read as a stand-alone. I would recommend this book for someone looking for a romance with a side of HGTV home reno vibes.

This is a fun read for anyone looking for a cross between Mean Girls, A Cinderella Story, and an age gap romance. I there are definitely some fun nods to the movies in this book. I will say the revenge plot overshadows the romantic plot for much of the book but I still enjoyed reading it. I liked Zach he really understands Cami and is so supportive of her needs. He meets her exactly where she is at but is clear about what he wants and I wish we saw more than the brief cameos of Abbie and Damien. I definitely recommend this series and am super curious about what will happen in book 3 (and what the movie inspo will be!)
