Melanie Harlow can do no wrong! She is the queen of nanny single dad small town romances. As expected I absolutely loved this book and could not put it down. Veronica and Austin had great chemistry. I enjoyed seeing their relationship develop from a reluctant job offer to a friendship and then relationship. Their relationship hang ups were realistic and suited the characters‘s insecurities and fears. Veronica brought out the best in Austin and he was so supportive giving her what she needed in a partner. Also this might be the hottest Melanie book yet! I need everyone to pick up this book for a flirty and fun time!

This was a solid book. I feel like the romance took the back burner for most of the story. This slow burn didn’t really take flight until maybe 2/3 of the way in.The pacing for this book was quite slow, it would have benefitted from a faster pace and slightly shorter length. Often I found myself thinking I’ve read so much of this book but not much has happened. I liked Gracie, Sam, and Fangli. They were all characters you could relate to in some way. This book focuses a lot on Gracie’s internal thoughts and growth which leads to less of a romance feel and more of a contemporary fiction feel. I would still recommend this book though.

This book will put you in your feels! I feel like Happy and Sad by Kacey Musgraves are the vibes this book puts out, it’s both of those things for a majority of the book. This book really packs a lot of angst between the two love interests Harriet and Wyn. You feel the push and pull between the past and now and trying to find out what went wrong. I think this book really balanced the dynamics of the friendship group and this relationship well, it definitely enhanced the story. While I always prefer dual POV I think the story hits you in the heart the way it does because you only have Harriet’s perspective and understanding. I do feel the ending was a bit rushed especially compared to the pacing of most of the book. I for sure would recommend this book, you’ll probably need some tissues.

I really enjoyed this one! It was fun seeing the progression of Kai and Isabella’s relationship. I loved that Kai was a softer version of himself with her even before they became involved. Ordering the drinks based on whatever embarrassing comment he overheard her say? So funny and cute. He was so sweet at building up Isabella’s confidence and she brought out this softer more relaxed side of Kai. They became better versions of themselves together despite being opposites. It also can’t go without mentioning that in true Ana Huang fashion this book is hot and spicy. I definitely recommend it and honestly can’t wait to read Dominic and Alessandra’s story next, I am dying to learn about those two!

I just love Alexandria Bellefleur’s writing style! Her books have such sweet and tender romances and this one is no different. She’s also one of the best at the found family trope, she write the most supportive and loving friends. I always want to dive into the book and join the friendship circle. Gemma and Tansy really see each other. I also love the moment of mutual pining before they shared their feelings with one another. I might be dwelling on all the sweetness in this review but don’t get me wrong this book is sexy too! I definitely recommend this book for anyone looking for a romance that makes you feel like you were hugged.

Let me tell you this book is hot!! Do not let the cartoon cover fool you. I really enjoyed reading this book. Aiden and Cassie have great chemistry and tension. The mutual pining and denial until they finally gave in to the temptation? *chef’s kiss* Sophie she was a fun sassy character who just wanted to feel secure after losing her mom. I loved watched her relationship with Cassie develop as Cassie tried to win her over. Aiden and Cassie really care about one another and try to support each other. I could’ve done without
Cassie’s complete and utter self-destructive behavior that caused the 3rd act break up. It suited her character and had its purpose for her character development but was tough to read.
. This book is fabulous, definitely recommend!

This is the least strong book in the series in my opinion. Don’t get me wrong though I still enjoyed reading this book. I just found the antagonism between Stevie and Greer to be annoying, I felt her reaction didn’t match what he did. As their friendship grew and their relationship evolved I enjoyed their dynamic more. It was fun seeing how Greer who thought he was anti-love and anti-kids, fall in love with Stevie and her daughter Macie. After binging this entire series I can’t believe I have to wait a few months for the next one!

I absolutely loved this book! Miller and Scout are the cutest. I loved learning more about Miller, who was beyond the silly jokester on the team. He was so sweet. I loved the banter between him and Scout. Him wooing her to be his friend was great. I really enjoyed seeing their relationship progress. And when he read The Princess Diaries after she told him about the movie?! Miller really shined in this book. Unlike the other books we don’t see as much interaction with the other couples and teammates. I think this gave us a chance to really see Miller in a different light. I definitely would recommend this book!

The Carolina Comets series continues to not disappoint! I enjoyed this one, it was fun getting to dive more into Smith’s head after getting a taste in the other books. I wish there was a little more history beyond just a single weekend between Emilia and Smith. I felt it would’ve made the tension and chemistry between them more meaningful. I just wanted their connection to be a little deeper. Despite that they are a couple you found yourself rooting for. I’m really enjoying this series!

The Carolina Comets series just won’t quit! Book 3 turns out strong despite centering around one of the tropes I don’t love- accidental pregnancy. This can be a hard one to do right but I think this book delivers. It manages to balance both Hollis and Lowell’s emotions about timing, priorities, and their feelings for one another. I enjoyed watching the progression of their relationship- antagonists to one night stand to finally getting to know and learn about each other. They are quite supportive partners. As always I love the banter between the love interests and the friend group. I am excited to see what happens next!
