I think of all 4 books this has been my favorite. I loved that the story focused on so many different things and truly showed how a relationship and mental illness can coexist. I loved that we also got to see so many little tidbits of the other characters and their relationships as well!

Absolutely loved it! I wish we would’ve had more Diego and Isaac time though, that would’ve made this 5 stars for me!

I think out of the trilogy, this was my least favorite. It was still a GREAT book, but I think it was the weakest out of the three. I found parts of it a little far fetched for me to really buy into it, and then other parts were a little too long and drawn out. I also wish we could’ve gotten more of an actual ending than we did. Overall it was a good book, but it just left some things to be desired.

Aristotle and Dante Discover the Secrets of the Universe by Benjamin Alire Sáenz
Did not finish book. Stopped at 55%.

I just wasn’t into it at all, which really bummed me out. I’ve seen people raving about this one for years, but it just didn’t live up to it for me.
The problem I was having is that every sentence was super short, there was no variety. And it became super obvious that was the case hearing it being read aloud.
The characters also never seemed to have an actual conversation. Every time one would ask the other a question they’d be like “no” and then it would be over. I have no idea what this friendship was actually built on other than shared inability to hold a conversation.

Hoover never fails to make a good book! I really enjoyed the characters and the relationships in this one. And the ending was *chefs kiss*.

I really enjoyed this one, except for the narrator. They kinda ruined the experience for me and I think I would’ve liked the story better if I had read it versus listened to it. Sweet story overall though!
