I didnt like this book much — there were roughly 8 subplots going on and I really hated the random lines that were like, "What would America do if they DIDNT have royalty? Elect their leader? That would never work." This book wasnt a love triangle, either. It was a freaking web.
I was just like... okay. This book is just /okay/ and I'll just finish it and move on to the rest of my to-read pile. Except then I was 30 pages from the end and not a single plot was resolved. In fact, things got more complicated. And then I finished the book. And then I learned that there was a sequel. And now I have doomed myself to read ANOTHER book with these characters.
