It’s cheesy, it’s strange to see the dynamics of the friendships, but I ate this book up. I’m glad that Maggie got her happy ending, because in all honesty I probably would’ve raged if she hadn’t.

Cleo has such a great writing style! I absolutely loved the representation of mental health in this book, and she did an outstanding job making the characters lovable and relatable. Between Darwin’s setbacks and Savvy’s internal dialogue, I found myself aching when they struggled, and doing a happy dance when they were thriving!

At first, I wasn’t sure how I’d feel about the whole “this is my dad’s best friend” vibe, but the love between the characters just kept me wanting more. The spice was top notch, without being so much that it took away from the plot. The banter between the characters had me laughing, and I instantly fell in love with Darwin. I devoured this book and can’t remember the last time I read 75% of the book in one sitting! This was my first ARC read and I am already hoping I can get onto Cleo’s permanent ARC team. She does a great job of telling a really fun story!

If you’re into age gaps, relatable MCs, spice, and want an overall fun book to read, this is the book for you!

I love this book!

Quinn and Graham’s love story is one of my favorites, and I love that we see real and raw emotions for both of them. The struggle with fertility and how it affects a marriage are so real in this book, it makes you feel so many emotions. The glimpses that we see of the beginning of their relationship mixed with what we see in the present really give a true picture of what storms two people can face. This story also gives a great picture of how you can let those struggles swallow you whole, crumbling the relationships you have around you if you let them. You can learn a lot of life lessons through Quinn and Graham, and I find them so relatable. I would definitely recommend this book to anyone!

This book is hard to review. There were some parts that I instantly was drawn into. The creepy parts were creepy, but the filler that this story needed to go from a short story on Reddit to a full novel fell short for me.

The characters were hard to connect to, and there were some loose ends I wanted tied up at the ending that we never get answers to. I really enjoyed the concept of dealing with your inner demons in order to be left alone by the spiritual demon, but by the time we finally got to that aspect of the book, it felt rushed I guess? It’s hard to say a book drags at times and rushes at others, but this definitely does that.

For this being written by two guys that started on Reddit, bravo. Yes you could tell by the writing that they aren’t well versed authors, but you kind of sign up for that when you read a book that started on a platform like Reddit in my opinion. Overall I didn’t hate the book, didn’t fall in love with the book. Did I have a good time reading it? Sure. Will I reread it? Ehh that’s still undecided.

I LOVE Daniel and Six. They are some of my favorite side characters… but I just wanted more! I know it’s a novella, but it was very rushed at the end. The fact that it ends with the gang blurting out their big secrets and that’s it? Ugh I need more than that!

So there are lots of people that were bored with this book because it’s the exact same story as Hopeless, but from Holder’s point of view. Personally, I loved it! It gave you an insight to why Holder reacted the way he did, and being able to hear it from his perspective was just heartbreaking as it was from Sky’s.

My favorite Colleen Hoover series hands down. We love Holder, we love Sky… hell I even love Karen.

Definitely check trigger warnings! This book has some parts in it that are very hard to read.

So going into this book, I didn’t know what to expect. I am such a fan of Frieda McFadden, so of course I was all about a new book. But to hear it was about a teacher having a relationship with a student? That really had me hesitating on this book. At first, it was almost hard to digest… BUT THATS THE POINT. It was an uncomfortable book to get through, but that what makes it a good psychological thriller. Not to mention that you have twists throughout the book that keep you hooked. (Some of which I never would’ve seen coming) My jaw was on the floor by the end of the epilogue. Well done, Frieda. This book will definitely be talked about for years to come.

I’m so torn with this book. On one hand, this book gives me the ick because I’m not one for cheating. Like let’s not romanticize it shall we?

But on the other hand, I absolutely love these characters! This series gives us a full view of this crazy, weird, wild friendship between Ridge, Sydney, Warren, Bridgette, and Maggie. Honestly if I had ONLY read this book, I probably would’ve been madder than I was at the entire foundation of Ridge and Sydney’s relationship. After reading the second book though, I do love how they handle conflicts and their friendship with Maggie and the others. They truly are just some lovable characters. I’m also a sucker for the musician side of this story.
