I have thoroughly enjoyed this one and really loved the characters, the writing flows so smoothly and you just fly through it. There are so many depths to them and getting to explore them and watching them slowly unravel, was really intense but also so beautiful. Watching Arlo grow throughout this book from where he was when we first met him was so wholesome, the confidence that it brings him, and he was already a confident man, really shows through in the small acts. Hailey is a very empowering woman and watching her open up and come to terms with her past, to a degree, was really beautiful because it felt like she could finally start to take the next steps in life. Watching them both start to expand their boundaries with each other and test new waters, was done so gracefully and by not being rushed, it allowed you to connect with the characters along their journey. We have been set up really nicely for the next book and I can’t wait to explore this next step in all the characters' story and watch all these other levels unlock.

This one hooks you straight into the story and the characters. It’s an enjoyable and easy read, but for me there was just something missing and I don’t quite fully know what. To me personally it felt like we had two different plots, one in the first half and the other in the second, the second one does blend in throughout the first half, but the first plot kinda stops in a way, this could just be me, so don’t let that affect your feelings on the book, you may really enjoy it and it could be right up your street. I enjoyed the characters and loved how well they balanced each other out. Raiden was definitely the perfect match for Lucrezia, as not only was he protective of her but he knew when to step back and let her take the reins. Lucrezia is a very female empowering woman especially there at the end, as it really showed just how far she had come from when we first met her. Make sure to check out Twisted Truths first which is the prequel novella to their story.

This one was enjoyable and the characters were intriguing, they had many interesting depths to them. Simon is very hooked in by Charlie straight from the get go and once we are able to look beyond Charlie's past and really explore her, then they balance each other out perfectly. Charlie becomes very strong in herself and determined to right the wrongs of her past, and watching this unravel really gave her this boost to truly take what she wants from life. The writing was enjoyable and flowed nicely and I will definitely be checking out the rest of the books. The dual POV to the audiobook really gave it that added layer and without it I don't think the story would of hit right.

Where do I begin with this one, it was not what I was expecting at all. There was a character that I was expecting to see a whole lot more of, based on how the synopsis portrayed it, but we only saw or heard of every now and then. This book was, to me, just a whole lot of mess, it felt like forever before we truly started seeing any form of plot stick, instead of the random bits we were getting. There is a scene and conversation there at the end, that had it been in the first half of the book or even genuinely discussed I would have DNF'd this book, then and there. There was so many things there at the end that just felt so random and just didn't make any form of sense to me at all. Honestly could not vibe with this book and If I'm being entirely honest I'm giving this book a 3 out of respect that I finished it and that the first half was okay.

Well this has been the perfect kick off book to this series, I have loved it. The writing is just so quick, easy and it immerses you into the world and the lives of the characters straight from the get go. Unravelling this mystery and falling in love with the characters at the same, was the perfect balance to this entire book, also spice levels were absolutely spot fucking on. These characters, well, what a rollercoaster they have had, I really felt for all the shit that Emma went through and how tough a world she lived in, it is such a true representation of a woman’s role in a man’s world. Alex was the perfect gentleman to her, even with his stalker tendencies😏, but his words, god that man has words for days, he had me swooning and kicking my feet, let alone what he was doing to Emma. S.K.A.M well where do I begin with this psycho, other than that dude needed deep therapy to resolve his issues. The plot of this story was so well thought and flowed really nicely, were there the odd few bits that I guessed along the way or had inklings towards, yes, but it did not take away any of the shock factor to this book or any of my love and enjoyment of the characters. I was ready to cry if Summer’s ruined one of the characters within this book because they were just the perfect bundle of perfection, in so many ways. The way I have not stopped staring into space after reading that last epilogue, is not okay, I think I now need to go to therapy because no way did Ms Nikki end us like that, that must have been a joke. Highly recommend going a picking it up if you haven’t already and if you haven’t why the fuck not.

I really enjoyed this one and it carries such an important message throughout, it sickens me that this is a message we have to deliver. This is not a book for ones who don’t love a bit of gore and if you’re looking for romance or smut, it ain’t here. Definitely check the trigger warnings, which I will list below, because you definitely need to go into it prepared. I really enjoy Marla’s writing and how it stands out from her other work as Tanya Lynn, as well as standing out from other authors I’ve read. It’s also been confirmed that I am just as fucked up as Marla and took the story in my own direction which is probably very concerning. If you can handle the trigger warnings mentioned, definitely pick it up.

I enjoyed this one and it was nice to watch Aiden become more confident in little ways. Calder is so enamoured by Aiden and watching him be this massive golden retriever for him and all the little things he does is just really adorable to watch. I really enjoy the writing by the author, but at times it feels a little fast and I would love it to be slowed down that little bit so that we can really grow this bond with the characters, by getting to explore more of the scenes in a bit more detail, this is just a personal thing for me, the writing is still very much enjoyable and doesn’t effect the plot line. I can’t wait to see more of where their story goes and what is going to happen.

This prequel novella is the perfect little set up to the rest of the series. We get a nice little introduction to the main characters and their personalities, which I'm looking forward to exploring in more depth. I'm interested to see what is going to happen with the plot and how that is going to play out.

I just personally couldn't vibe with this book and I don't think I will be picking up the rest of the series. As much as I could feel for Teddy and what she was going through, I found the characters to be annoying and I couldn't connect with them. I would of loved for everything to have slowed down and, personally, not feel a bit all over the place, so that we could really watch Asher and Teddy explore the option of a proper relationship. The idea and the intent of the book and series is really good, but just personally not for me.

I enjoyed this one and it’s definitely helped me out of my reading slump. Personally there were some stories not for me and that’s okay because not every story is going to be for everyone. There were so many different writing styles which lent to the authors' individualities and gave them that layer to stand out from each other. There are some stories that have made me eager to check out the series that are to come and full length novels. Definitely worth the read, it’s such a nicely paced book that just has you flowing through it. I found some new authors that I can’t wait to check out their work and explore.
