I really don‘t know how to explain my feelings towards this book 😭
Somehow I loved every second of it and I wasn’t bored at all but otherwise something was just missing idk 😩
This book had so much potential and like I said I loved it none the less but to me personally the story and characters felt pretty shallow like there could’ve been sooo much more input and so much more to the romance as well! It felt rushed sometimes
Still I also really enjoyed the writing and the plot over all (can never go wrong with vampires excuse me???)

Also I might have shed a tear here and there🙃

I loved this book!
They had the best banter I have ever read about that genuinely made me laugh out loud so often and I loved Ivan as a person as well as Jasmine and her whole family.

The only two things that didn't make this book perfect were for one the language which was sooo heavy on cuss words that it started to annoy me to read "f**king" in every sentence like three times and for the other I love slow burn romances, I really do. But them kissing only after so many pages? And the end then feeling sooo rushed? I'm crying

None the less the lead up was great, I didn't get bored for a single moment and I enjoyed the ice skating aspect a lot. I'm really looking forward to read a lot more MZ books!

Did not finish book. Stopped at 20%.
The YA writing style really isn‘t for me.

I went into this pretty sceptical because Magnolia Parks was a 2 star book for me and I hated their world and the characters.

First of all I hate Jessa Hastings writing sometimes (and it makes me sad because so many people love it 😭) because to me it feels like she’s trying so hard to write poetically and it just cringes me a lot.
Also I did feel like Julian’s POV chapters weren’t really necessary and the book could’ve been way shorter and just as good without them.

I have to say tho that I loved Daisy, I really liked Romeo (I’m shipping them so hard) and I also enjoyed Christian a lot. They didn’t annoy or cringe me all that much compared to Magnolia and BJ and I could empathize Daisy a lot. I’m really looking forward to the other Daisy books and because of the Magnolia chapter at the end I’m also looking forward to her other books! 😮‍💨

This book was truly a masterpiece 😮‍💨

It wasn‘t cheesy or overdramatized at all and felt so real and also realistic, we got to see what living with horrible addictions is like.
I annotated a whole lot and it‘s unbelievable how many emotions this book made me feel. Never was there any moment where I was bored oder felt like this wasn‘t worth a second of my time.

I‘m really looking forward to the subsequent books in this series and to get to see the further journey of Lily and Lo and all the lovable side characters (btw the side characters are chef‘s kiss 😩)!

I‘m so grateful I got to read this wonderful piece of literature 🙏🏼

This wasn‘t more than okay

The story felt incredibly unrealistic and the end felt not creative and abrupt 😐 I don’t think I’ll continue with the series

I actually enjoyed reading this and felt entertained buuut

Nonetheless I agree with those reviews that are saying that they didn't feel the romantic feelings between Ama and Elliot. They just felt like words on paper.
Also I felt like the whole plot was really predictable, even though I liked that there wasn't a third act breakup. Ama and Elliot barely spoke to each other and when they did, they were hating on each other. The throwback chapters were just hella smutty tbh

I read this in the tandem read with EOS and it took me sooo long to finish. Sadly I felt that this book was really boring until like the last 150 pages.
Also the german translation was 150 pages longer than the english one so that didn't make it better.

I didn't enjoy Chaol as a character at all I felt he was pretty boring and annoying a lot of the time. I personally enjoyed reading about Sartaq and Nesryn but that's about it. All the talking around the plot and unneccesarily deepening everything...annoyed me so much! :(

I enjoyed this book a lot but since I read it in the tandem read with TOD it took me SO LONG to get through! I do think that it could've been a lot shorter (the german translation was 170 pages longer than the english one) and at some points I felt discouraged to get through it.

I thought that the ending was really well played out and it made me feel a lot of things.

Also can we just talk about Lorcan and Elide? I ship them SO HARD!

I really enjoyed this and found myself entertained, the story wasn't really realistic or perfect by any means but it was still really good

Otherwise tho I didn't feel Ryan and Evie AT ALL XD
