Fifty Shades of Grey by E.L. James

Definitely not one of my favourites. I thought it was horribly written. Not only that it glorifies an abusive (to some extent) and unhealthy relationship between a man and a woman. I do understand why others love it, though. Just not my type of book. Didn't want to read the rest of the trilogy.

I read this book while I was still in school and I enjoyed the plot line. Anything angel and fantasy related is my forte. I have also recently watched the movie which I never knew that existed until I saw someone post about it. I remember being sucked into the story and finishing it in 2 or 3 days. Features a typical love triangle with the girl having to choose from two extremely attractive guys (wouldn't that be a great problem to have?). The only bad thing was that our school library didn't have any of the other books from the series.

I think this is my favourite book (so far) from the A Court of Thorns and Roses series. The character development that Feyre goes through is mind blowing. I love how she realises that she has to put her needs before everyone else's in order to find peace, love and happiness. And can we talk about Rhysand??? Definitely one of my favourite characters ever written. I love love love this book and would recommend it within a heartbeat.

I finished the 3 books in this series in 6 days before I realised that I don't have the continuation. The plot twists in this book are simply astounding. At one point I lost concept of who is on the good side and who is on the bad side. Sarah J Maas has just been added to the list of my favourite authors. Pity I only decided to read these books recently and not when I first bought them a few years ago. My mistake. The story is amazing and I will definitely re-read in the future.

This used to be one of my favourite books back when I was in high school. I loved the universe created for this trilogy. The fact that Katniss stepped in to replace her sister in the hunger games shows how much her family means to her and that she will do anything to keep them alive and to make sure that her sister is safe and happy. Something that not everyone would have the courage to do. As well as that not everyone would stand up to the cruel tyrant and the governing system of the districts. Katniss is a true heroine. A classic and must read for any science fiction lover.

Absolutely loved this story! I was so excited when this book was announced so the first thing I did was preorder it. Once it arrived at my doorstep I ran straight up to my bedroom and stared reading. I finished it within 2 days. I'm a huge fan of Loki (both Marvel's Loki and Norse Mythology Loki) and this book provides an interesting theory as to how he became the way we all know him - a suspicious master of mischief. The story is easy to follow and has a nice flow. The characters are written in such a way that the reader can easily relate to the way they are feeling at a given moment. The book shows Loki as we have never seen him before - capable of love and friendship. Perfect for anyone interested in Marvel, Norse Mythology or anyone looking for a nice story to read.

Although the story wasn't magnificent or anything out of the ordinary I enjoyed reading it. Beauty and the Beast has always been one of my favourite stories. I could always relate to Belle - a book loving girl cast out by society.
As soon as I saw this book in the Disney Store I knew I had to have it in my collection. It just caught my eye and I liked the idea of the story being told in a different way. A "what if" that I never realised I wanted to get the answer to.
The book was quite easy to read and I got through it pretty quickly. My Disney loving heart was satisfied

I got this book 5 years ago as a reward for my good grades and my behaviour in school and I finally got around to it.

Let me be honest - this book was such a drag for me. At times I had to force myself to keep reading since I'm not a fan of abandoning a book when I'm halfway through it.

There was way too much information being thrown at the reader throughout the whole duration of the book. As well as that I found the 14/15 year old girl - Sophie - extremely annoying. It seemed to me like she was a broken record, always saying "I understand." or demanding her teacher to "Explain!". I rarely ever noticed her saying "please" or "thank you". Though I do understand why others think the book is fantastic. For me, it's just a matter of not being interested in the subject that the book is focusing on.

I am happy to have this book out of my way. Hopefully the next one will be a more enjoyable one.

This was such a cute and easy read!
The story is about a 12 year old boy and his fox finding their way back to each other after the fox - Pax is left abandoned in the forest due to the war that's about to hit the country.

The book is written in two different points of view. One tells the story of how the boy - Peter decides to run away in hopes of finding his fox after realising that leaving him alone in the forest was not the right thing to do.
The other point of view shows how Pax learns the ways of the forest and gets used to the new surroundings.

I absolutely loved the book. It will make you smile and definitely make you shed a tear or two. Most importantly though, it will make you reflect on the type of person you are and the type of person you should be.

I'm in love with the Disney twisted tales and as soon as I heard that there is one about my favourite Disney characters I knew I had to read it!

I love how this whole book focuses on Wendy's self development. She transforms from a house maid into an independent, strong woman despite everyone trying to silence her.

Wendy has always been one of my favourite book/movie characters and this book shows her from a new, never before seen angle. Simply fantastic and such an easy read.
