This book is so great if you don't think about it too much. It is pure sugar and absolutely needs to be consumed in one sitting.

Jack is absolutely the Perfect Boyfriend (TM), and suffers from "this behaviour is only okay because he's hot and the feelings are reciprocated" disease, but honestly I don't even care. If you don't mind that, and big
instalove
undertones, then honestly just give it a try.

If you love problem solving books, this is for you. I loved the mix of perspectives here and even though I watched the movie, I was completely drawn in. This lost a star for Mark Watney being absolutely insufferable but book itself was so good that I could forgive it.

This book is an exploration of the stagnation of surburbia, of families, of pasts. I was not necessarily surprised with the direction it took or how it ended, but I thoroughly enjoyed how compassionately it treated all of the characters in their journeys. It would be so easy to tell the same story and villainize the antagonists, but this book is so much more special in how human they all are at the end. Stunning!
