Had fun reading this short prequel to the Sons of Malice!

Let me preface this by saying that step brothers and dubcon are not typically my things. That being said, I loved the way both situations were handled in this - that left me feeling more at ease than most books that feature either trope.

Twins? Yes please. Age gap? Tell me more. Haunted past that ends up being connected to the guy who just bought your virginity? Sign me up.

Gianna is both painfully aware of her physical innocence, and also unaware of the effect she has on the men in this book in particular, which is an interesting juxtaposition. Meanwhile, our lead males are all deliciously different and are well developed in the short time we get to see them.

Enjoyed reading this and so thankful Delaney shared it with me!

Elle, Elle, Elle. Sit down. *pats couch* Let's talk.

Just a little chat. That's it.

About how, at one point, I screamed so loud at my Kindle I scared the bejesus out of my doggos. No, really.

For a debut novel, this had my heart on the floor. This is a slow, slow, slow burn for spice. Nearly 85K in before the whisper of anything more than a kiss but man oh man was it worth it.

Dylan is so incredibly relatable, and the experiences she had with the backlash of social media in telling her truth are so important to share. Poignant, terrifying, and so true. Thank you for making her a fierce believer in bodily autonomy and so unapologetically herself.

Now, Jack. Jack, my boy. Jack-a-rino. What are we going to do with him? Seriously. He is both several people I know and also my next book boyfriend. Stick up the butt? Absolutely. With good reason? Fo sho. Obviously in love with Dylan from the get go? Also a yes. But was totally here for it.

Thanks so much for sharing their story with us - I'm so excited to see what you do next.

Prey Tell by Amanda Richardson

This book is what 50 Shades wishes it had been, and I’m absolutely here for it. Yet again, Amanda Richardson brings us quinky, beautifully written characters for steam scenes that leave you wanting so much more.

Our FMC, Juliet, is strong, analytical and knows exactly what she wants. There’s no “oh man maybe I don’t want this” wishy washy semi-consent here and it immediately set me at ease, that she knew exactly what she was getting herself into with Chase Ravage.

Our MMC, Chase, has built up walls his entire life to keep everyone out - except her. Chase is loyal, somewhat to a fault, to his best friend, Jackson - AKA Juliet’s brother. And he is so incredibly support of both of them when they need it most.

I finished this book in one sitting and can’t wait to read Miles’ story in the next Ravaged Castle series.
