131 Method: Your Personalized Nutrition Solution to Boost Metabolism, Restore Gut Health, and Lose Weight by Chalene Johnson

I was lucky enough to be sent an advance copy of this book.

Firstly this is not a diet book. This book focuses on health with scientific facts and studies that focus on gut health and how there is no “one size fits all diet”.
This book teaches you about your gut health and how you can change it.

Chalene personally talks about her own story as to how and why the 131 Method works. She also describes the science parts in a way that is so easy to understand and it’s so informative.

Since taking part with this book. I have never felt better! My IBS didn’t rear its ugly head and I am so pleased! I don’t feel ‘fluffy’ and bloated. I have more energy!
( I work, exercise and run around after a toddler ) and my brain fog has disappeared.

The recipes look beautiful and yummy.

This book can help anyone!

And will change your life!

Having read all of Sarah J Mass’s impeccable books. I couldn’t wait to get my hands on Crescent City.

I have to admit it was a slow start, having to read how the world of Lunathion and the whole Crescent City world worked and who and what resides in it, that took time to get my head around.

Nevertheless, I carried on. The story is so entwined with so many subplots, it keeps you interested and eager for more and it grows and develops in such away that you are drawn back. It’s a definite page turner.

Half-Fae, half-human Bryce Quinlan loves her life. Every night is a party and Bryce is going to savour all the pleasures Lunathion - also known as Crescent City - has to offer. But then a brutal murder shakes the very foundations of the city, and brings Bryce's world crashing down.
Two years later, Bryce still haunts the city's most notorious nightclubs - but seeking only oblivion now. Then the murderer attacks again. And when an infamous Fallen angel, Hunt Athalar, is assigned to watch her every footstep, Bryce knows she can't forget any longer.

This book is action PACKED! With romance and adventure thrown in. I remain eagerly awaiting the next instalment to this highly awaited new series from the queen herself, Sarah J Maas.

I give this book ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

A charming, lighthearted read. I absolutely adored this story and fell in love with Harriet and Sophie. I laughed and gasped in shock so much. I was glued to my chair, wanting to know what will happen to the two families and how they will sort through their problematic lives, while on holiday in each other’s homes.

The Staycation is a perfect read for any occasion. #thestaycation

Ignite The Sun
Semi Spoiler free review

A brilliant debut book by Hanna Howard.
I absolutely loved the plot of the book. How dark and mysterious it felt that a kingdom lived in darkness with no sun.

Synopsis
Once upon a time, there was something called the sun ... In a kingdom ruled by a witch, the sun is just part of a legend about Light-filled days of old. But now Siria Nightingale is headed to the heart of the darkness to try and restore the Light--or lose everything trying.

I was so intrigued by this book and I could not put it down!

The characters were fantastic and I absolutely loved the chemistry between two certain characters. As for the world the book is set in. I felt there could have been more and wished we could have seen more creatures and magic. I would have liked to have seen Siria do more training etc.

I also felt that we should have seen just how wicked the queen truly is before the last quarter of the book. She seemed partially absent but then again the book is in first person.

Having said that, I really enjoyed this book and I hope others do too.

I give this book ⭐️⭐️⭐️/5 stars

An enchanting, magical, fantasy read that retells the story of Tristan and Isolde.

Synopsis:

A princess longing to be free...

On the dawn of her courtship trials, Princess Lyana Aethionus knows she should be focused on winning her perfect mate, yet her thoughts wander to the open sky at the edge of her floating kingdom. One final adventure calls. Upon fleeing the palace, the last thing she expects to find is a raven prince locked in a death match with a dragon.

A bastard aching to belong...

Reviled son of a dead king, Rafe would do anything for his beloved half-brother, Prince Lysander Taetanus, including posing as him in the upcoming courtship trials. When a dragon interrupts their secret exchange, he orders his studious sibling to run. After suffering a fatal blow, Rafe is saved by a beautiful dove who possesses forbidden magic, just like him.
Fate brought them together, now destiny will tear them apart...
Unknown to the world above, on the foggy sea ten thousand feet below, a young king fights a forgotten war. He believes Lyana is the queen prophesied to save the world, and with the help of his favored spy, hidden deep in the highest ranks of the dove royal house, he will stop at nothing to have her.

I thoroughly enjoyed this fantasy story. I have read a lot of ya fantasies and this is a first of its kind. It’s so, intriguing about a world that floats above the sea of fog and which avian people live.

I love how the author has also created such diverse characters in the story. It’s refreshing to read.

I am left with wanting to know more about this world and what will happen to the characters.

If you’re a fan of Sarah J Maas then you will enjoy this epic tale.
