Rowdy Rowdy Rowdyyyyy
This was definitely a slow burn but a phenomenal book. I had my suspicions in the beginning & I even got a bit discouraged in the middle but im SO glad I kept reading & saw it through. Rowdy cannot be boxed. His personality is HEAVY but addicting! His freak meter turned me on real bad

I gave this a 3 star….
Cons first—Honestly I barely got past the 16 year age gap—the girl being a TEENAGER…..Then the possible incest??? Even with the ending and us finding out he’s NOT the father, it was still weird as hell to me. I also didn’t like the insta love. It was the weirdest book I’ve ever read and I probably wouldn’t recommend to anyone because I’m sure they’d look at me crazy after reading it.
Pros— Again, putting aside the ages, I loved the spice BEFORE shit hit the fan…(except the threesome and golden shower, it was an unnecessary part of the story for me) i liked the love dialogue and how Owen didn’t play about her and romanced her with the dinner, making sure her mom was good and his love confessions.
I went into this read completely blind, not having read the back or looked it up anywhere. It was recommended to me as a similar story to demons dream. And in conclusion, I wouldn’t go as far to say that. The only similarities are that it’s urban romance and Atlas and Dream were virgins. That’s about it

Rowdy was marketed like a gangster, but let’s be honest, he gave more of a psychotic fever dream than a mafia don. Like, sir… why are you like this?
But Atlas? Oh, baby. That girl smiled in the face of danger and didn’t flinch. I’m talking main character energy with steel in her spine and the best kind of ride or die aura. I’m genuinely obsessed with her. She carried the story for me.
Their first meeting, though? Whew. I almost DNF’d right then and there because what in the absolute hell did I just witness?? Major ICK alert. But I’m so glad I pushed through, because what unfolded after that was dark, twisty, and addictive in a way I didn’t expect.
Is it morally grey? Yes. Is it healthy? Absolutely not. Did I eat it up anyway? You already know.

What did I just read?
Rowdy is so unlikeable its crazy. If you're into batshit crazy men with no regard for other people or even the FMC then you'll like this guy. I can't comment on specifics without giving spoilers but he is seen by the FMC touching other women and he chokes her in the not sexy way at one point. Idk what Atlas sees in him at all tbh.
The later stages of this book goes wild with the plot. It was so crazy I couldn't stop reading but I'm not sure if it was good? My feelings on this book are confused, amused and disgusted. Read at your own risk.
