I like the Tier One books and this is the best one yet. Only knowing that the series continues made me confident that Dempsey… and the free world… would survive the trap the authors laid for them.
The scenes in Israel had the feeling of someone who’s been there, and understands the paranoia/fatalIsm of the Israeli psyche. The authors capture the different energies between Tel Aviv and Jerusalem. They also capture the dilemma of Persian Jews in Iran.
I was impressed that the book’s surgeon recognized the risk of coagulopathy in mass transfusion. Then I realized one of the authors is a combat surgeon. The “medicine” in these books is first rate.
Definitely recommend.

I need to see my doctor!
Andrews and Wilson bring things full circle in this heart-pounding, eyebrow-raising, beyond intense action series. Seriously, my heart rate by the end of the book nearly reached stroke levels, and that plot twist at the end?? I almost threw my Kindle!

I was sad that we lost both Dalton Fury and Vince Flynn, whose books i really enjoyed. I think this series will help to fill the literary hole left by their passing--excellent suspense with multi-dimensional characters that make you care about them and their team. Well written story, with surprises I didn't see coming.
This left me hoping there will be many more books in this series and SOON!

You can borrow book & audio via KU. Love this series so much I go ahead and buy the Audible as soon as they’re released. It’s actually less expensive to buy the ebook for $5.99 & add the audio for $1.99 and pay less than a credit.
Ray Porter is phenomenal as a narrator and he really elevates this already amazing story to another level. He seamlessly switches between accents, personalized voices, genders, etc. Even women’s voices are done well. With a cast of characters as large as this ~ it’s quite the achievement.
Like the last 2 books, this has its own book story arc ~ but there’s also a story that weaves through all the books. I think you could read/listen individually, but they’re so much better built on the previous ones.
I love all the action, OPs, undercover missions, as well as the fact that all of these people (good guys and bad) have their own unique storylines and struggles. I’m always looking forward to more about all of them. Andrews & Wilson have done such an amazing job of world building that this series could go on for years and I can’t see myself tiring of it.
I think this was originally listed as a trilogy, but the way this ends ~ they’re definitely going to keep going. Can’t wait!

I found the third offering of the Tier One novels very disappointing. While the action and battle scenes contuine to be top notch, everything else was lacking and, at times, eye roll inducingly bad. I found some of the characterizations of the antagonists a little too clichéd and devoid of nuance. The reliance on too many spy/thriller troupes (double agents, triple agents, honeypots, workplace tension, sexual tension, secret illness, jealousy, backdoor deals, skulduggery) made this volume very predictable with the "twist" being telegraphed long before it happened. I sincerely hope this volume was an anomaly and the rest of the series returns to the form of the first two books.
This Tier One installment was…just…meh. Not good, not bad. Drug on at points, but not so much that I wanted to quit reading, but it was definitely NOT a page-turner for me.
I have not given up on the series, but if I never read another Tier One novel, I may not be upset either.
