This book was definitely fun read from the very beginning of the book up till the end. This book had fun and flirty banter and numerous sexual interludes which makes this a perfect Brazen novel. This novel kept me entertained, engaged and ….. hot under the collar. :P Now this isn’t the first book that I read from this author but I sure know it won’t be the last. Trust me when I say the beginning was quite a scorcher.

The rest of the story flowed wonderfully and I really enjoyed it. Your dealing with the typical couple of characters who want some fun times and no commitment. This kind of book is always fun to read. Rafe is a rich and successful player and Chelsea is coming from a very crap relationship. Like I said before I liked their banter and their flirting was cute, and when there sexual interludes are just plain hot. I like that Rafe was not a Jerk even though he is a playboy. He and those he slept with knew what they were getting themselves into from the beginning. And they were okay with it. It was very mature trait because I really don’t like a book with clingy relationships. Rafe is also what Chelsea needed. Their romance was off the charts hot and I loved every minute of it. :D

I always love romance but I also enjoyed the story. They are all in the hotel business and Chelsea is an excellent manager. I loved reading the e-mail of all the antics and request from all those guests. It was hilarious. The setting was picturesque with them being in Hawaii. I could see it in my minds eyes and now I want to go to Hawaii even more than last time. There was a bit of drama with Chelsea’s ex that I could have used more of, she did not stand up as much as I wanted her to in that department.

Trust me you can’t go wrong with this book! If you are looking for hot romance and a faraway island then obviously you need to get your hands onto this book. These characters were perfect together. Like I said before this is an great addition to the Brazen line of novels.

I have become quite a fan of Samanthe Beck's over the last few years. She always packs a ton of heat into her stories, and I can never get enough of the sexy times between her characters. Compromising Her Position was another example of just how good she is at that, and I loved the steam between these characters. One thing I will caution potential readers about before starting this book is that the opening of this book has a bit of a gray area when it comes to the sex between Rafe and Chelsea. While Chelsea thinks that she is having sex with the guy she is dating, Paul, it is actually Rafe instead. While this might be a problem for some, it was in the blurb for the book and the fact is that Rafe didn't know that she thought he was someone else until after they were through. So for me, this wasn't a deal breaker when it came to the story, but readers should know that before starting.

When Chelsea Wayne drags Santa into a closet at her company party, she thinks that she is with the man she has been dating for the last several months. Instead it is actual Rafe St. Sebastian the rich and handsome new CEO and owner for her company. Despite the heat between them and the amazing sex in the closet, Chelsea and Rafe know that they should avoid one another. The last thing Rafe needs while trying to convince his father that he is ready to take over is to get caught up in a potential scandal. But when Chelsea becomes an important part of their business plan, Rafe sets out to convince her to help him. But Rafe is hoping that he can also get her back into bed with him personally as well as professionally.

I liked these characters a lot. They were each really interesting characters to me and the heat between these two was so explosive! Right from the very start these two kicked things off with a bang, and the chemistry was everything I have come to expect from Samanthe Beck. She has a way of writing such steamy books, and Rafe and Chelsea's story was no exception. The one thing I thought could have been different though was the actual connection between them. When it came to the the physical it was so easy to see, but I felt like the reader needed to see a bit more of these two getting to really know one another. I wanted more interactions between these two that showed them growing closer besides just in a physical way. At times their relationship felt a bit rushed, and I think a lot of that was because we didn't see much actually develop on an emotional level.

Overall, this was a steamy story with some holiday fun thrown in and I enjoyed it quite a bit. Samanthe Beck's writing style is so easy to get lost in and I really like her voice. There are a few authors that are go-to authors for me when it comes to sexy books, and Samanthe Beck is at the top of that list. She never fails to bring the heat and she never disappoints. While this wasn't my favorite book from Samanthe Beck, I did really like it and I know I will read more from her in the future.

**I received a copy of Compromising Her Position from Entangled Publishing and Net Galley in exchange for a voluntary and honest review**

Compromising Her Position by Samanthe Beck is the first of two books in the author's series. Even though I read the second book first, it was easy to read each as a standalone.

Chelsea Wayne is hoping for a promotion to General Manager but her boyfriend Paul gets the job instead. Little does she know that when she asks him to wear a Santa suit at the Christmas party it isn't him that she's kissing. This Santa is much more than that and after some very hot loving, she discovers her mistake about Paul (who dumps her) and Santa is Rafe St. Sebastian, hotel billionaire who is purchasing La Ventanas resort. Chelsea tenders her resignation and runs to Maui, Hawaii but she still yearns for Rafe. This is an awesome book between two adults who agree to a compromise but realizes that its not enough. Their is as side story with Rafe and his father Luc but I loved the love that blooms between Rafe and Chelsea.

Rafe St. Sebastian has made a deal with his father that he can close the deal on three resorts and Luc will step down allowing Rafe to become the CEO. But against warnings from his sister, Arden, that he should tone down his playboy ways, that would impress his dad more anything. Now he realizes that compromises aren't all what they are cracked up to be and that he'd give her needs to figure out how to win Chelsea's heart even if it takes everything he has to convince her he wants forever not a compromise.

Hopefully, Arden will get her own book because if its anything like these two stories, it will be a wonderful one.

Loved!

Loved this book to pieces, it was everything I had hoped for and more. It was sweet, sexy and smoking hot just the way I like it. I loved both the main and secondary characters and I'm hoping that both Arden and Chelsea have their stories told.

COMPROMISING HER POSITION was one of those books that a quick, absolutely hot book that is a pleasure to read.

Rafe and Chelsea meet under a less than ideal situation, but that one encounter was the basis for almost ever encounter these two have going forward. Rafe is desperate to meet the demands of his father in order to take over as CEO for the family resort company and Chelsea is the liaison his latest acquisition has provided him to understand the resort. These two work well together, with Rafe giving Chelsea to room to grow and prove to herself that she could handle what it takes to run a resort. But what I liked about this couple was their chemistry. They were hot together. They absolutely fought a relationship, but at the same time didn't realize that what they had created was exactly what they were fighting.

If you're looking for a fun, hot read, then this is one you should definitely pick up.

Actual rating is 3.5 out of 5 stars.

Full Disclosure: I received a copy of this book from Netgalley, as part of the Tasty Book Tours blog tour, in exchange for an honest review.

My Thoughts: I’ve read 2 other books by Samanthe Beck and when I saw the blog tour with the book available from Netgalley, I signed up without hesitation. I was actually interested in the book’s description too. It was pretty much perfect timing to read this as we’re heading into the Christmas/holiday season.

Compromising Her Position was a pretty quick read for me. It is a romance and it does have some graphic sex scenes, so I would say ages 18 and up. I wouldn’t classify it as erotica though; there’s too much plot for that (wow, that did not sound quite so snarky in my head), which is a good thing in my opinion.

The main characters definitely had their imperfections. Rafe was pretty dreamy, but I felt like his character was missing something. I’m not sure what, but it didn’t detract from the story. Chelsea was mostly awesome. I say mostly because there were moments that had me rolling my eyes in frustration with her. I really don’t like it when people decide to be stubbornly stupid (I don’t think that’s a real phrase).

The chemistry was what I’ve come to expect from Samanthe Beck’s writing, which nothing short of great. I started to get anticipation highs whenever I thought Chelsea and Rafe were going to interact again. For the record, I’m not just referring to the chemistry in the sex scenes. I was mainly thinking about their banter.

While Compromising Her Position wasn’t my favorite Samanthe Beck book (that would be Private Practice), it was still very good. If you’re a fan of adult contemporary romances, then I would recommend Compromising Her Position and it’ll give you a dash of Christmas for the current holiday season too.

I absolutely loved this book, especially the beginning was too good, after that I simply couldn't put it down. I loved Chelsea and Rafe and their encounters are always so funny and romantic. This is one of the best romance novels I've read in a while and in addition to that story is passionate as well as humorous. It's a perfect package. If you are looking for romantic comedy with lots of chemistry then this one is definitely a good read.

This novel seemed to me like an amazing, hot and steamy read, right from the very first pages!!

Chelsea had asked from her boyfriend and coworker, Paul, to dress up as Santa for this year's Christmas work party! So when she spots the red suit she doesn't waste a minute to show her appreciation of him! In a small closet!

This was something completely unlike her, but it proved to be the best experience she had ever had so far! The complications start when she soon discovers that the Santa was not her boyfriend, but the new owner of their hotel, Rafe St. Sebastian! When Paul lets her know that he has gotten pregnant another of their coworkers and intends on marrying her, it is the final blow for Chelsea. She resigns her job and lands a new one, in another hotel, a few thousand miles away.

Rafe is a wealthy young man, willing to prove to his father that he is capable of making three deals with different hotels, all on his own! Chelsea's resignation has been a complication for him, too, seeing as she is one of the best at her work! Not to mention that after their passionate moments in that closet, he hasn't really been able to keep her out of his mind, something completely unusual for him!

While Chelsea has decided that she is not going to let herself love again after what Paul did to her, Rafe tracks her down, in order to show her that he is not done with her just yet. Both professionally and personally! She tries hard to avoid him, until he makes another deal, this time with the hotel Chelsea currently works for. In addition, he asked for her to be his personal tour guide for the whole week he is going to stay there, before the deal is sealed.

How is Chelsea going to avoid him for a whole week, when all she really wants is just the opposite?

An amazing story that got my complete attention right from the beginning! The author's writing style also helped with that! The pages flew by effortlessly, with both humorous and tense situations taing place between the two main characters.

I also loved this couple!

Chelsea was a young woman dedicated to everything she did, from her work to her relationships with other people. When she got her heart broken for yet another time, she decided to stop giving her all to the men she formed romantic relationships with. Nevertheless, she was a young, strong, independent woman I completely enjoyed reading about.

Rafe was a wealthy, young man, used to always getting what he wants, but also willing to work for it, and not just wait until it comes to him on its own! I just loved the way he tried to win over Chelsea!

I also enjoyed reading about some side characters, like Chelsea's realistic best friend and coworker, or even her mother, too!

All in all, 5 stars for an awesome, hot and steamy read, I thoroughly enjoyed!
