This one was a little better than the others....Sophie's lack of self confidence got a little repetitious but she was more appealing as was Logan or whatever the dude's name was in this one...it all blends.

I absolutely loved this book! Best Man With Benefits by Samanthe Beck was definitely my favorites in the Wedding Dare Series, even though I really loved them all. It was hot and sweet, and really had everything I look for in a good story. Sophie and Logan were amazing characters, and I felt invested in them right from the start. If you haven't read this series, I definitely would recommend these books because they are so good. Each one can be read as standalone stories, with all the characters interconnecting as they spend the week at Colt and Kady's wedding.

Logan McCade is the best man for his friend Colt's wedding and it is the first time in years that he has actually taken time away from his busy schedule at work. Running his own business is all he ever wanted, but it has left little time for anything else in his life. When Colt asks him to look after his younger sister, he has no idea that the girl he once knew has now grown into everything he has ever wanted in a woman. Soon his looking out for Sophie turns into a hands on job, and Logan is realizing that he wants Sophie despite the fact that she should be off limits to him as his best friend's little sister. The more time they spend together, the more each of them begins to hope for something beyond just the time together at the wedding. But what happens when Sophie finds out that their relationship started because of a favor to Colt?

I really liked Logan and Sophie. Sophie was pretty insecure and had such a vulnerable side to her. She was used to being picked on and didn't have a great self-image. I loved the fact that Logan was kind and patient with her, and he really made an effort to show her just how beautiful he thought that she was. He was so sweet with her, and I could not have loved him more for it. He allowed her to explore her desires, and made sure to encourage and support her always. Logan was sexy and athletic, and was used to running things in his life. But when it came to Sophie, he let her take control when she needed to and it didn't bother him at all. These two were such a perfect match for one another, and I loved their sweet moments just as much as the steamy ones!

Overall, I thought that this was a great story. This is by far one of my favorite tropes, and Samanthe Beck did a great job telling this story. It was the perfect balance of sexy and sweet, without being cheesy or over the top. This story was enjoyable from the very beginning, and I didn't want to put it down. While I have really loved this series and seeing all the characters, Logan and Sophie were my favorites and I couldn't get enough of them. I can't wait to read more from Samanthe Beck in the future.

This is the first book I have read/listened to in the McCade Brothers series, but I have listened to other books in the Wedding Date series. The narration was ok. It didn't do much for me one way or the other.

This was ok. It was tiring listening to Sophie's internal dialogue as she would do battle with her self esteem issues. I don't mind if the h has self esteem issues and we get to follow along as she comes out of her shell.

There were some good moments when she spent time with Logan. I tried to write my own version as I kept expecting Sophie to come up with a solution to Logan's business woes. Lol.

The book was ok. It took me a while to listen to it. I didn't really hold my interest for long, but I know that had more to do with Sophie's character and Logan's business interruptions than anything else.a

Luckily, I was able to listen via my Audible Escapes subscription.

This book is an amazing addition to the Wedding Dare series that I truly enjoyed. Both Sophie and Logan were wonderful characters and of course, brought out the best in each other. The ever shy Sophie has always thought of herself as somewhat an average looking person who could still stand to lose some weight and be prettier however, she was able to really see herself in Logan’s eyes (and of course, he thinks she is beautiful) during this book and it was beautiful how she finally saw herself in the end. He was also able to pull her out of her shy shell and take her rock climbing for the first time. And this wasn’t all one sided; Sophie was able to show Logan just how much it meant to really enjoy life. Being the CEO of his company has taken up too much of his time and he was never able to truly relax and spend his free time with friends and family.

I will say that the absolute, best part of this book was the conference call that Logan had to take while Sophie was in his room…actually, both conference calls. Yeah, those were amazing.

Definitely my favorite of the series. Kind of reminded me a little of Beautiful Player.

Love this series! I've got a weakness for the McCade brothers, just can't get enough of them which is why I'm sad to see this series end but I think the author did a great job on catching readers up on what's going on in the lives of the previous couples as well as doing an awesomely solid job on Logan's happily ever after.

See I was really liking this book with its spicy scenes and funny moments until we started finishing the character arcs in what is supposed to be a week long time span. I don't buy falling head over heels in anything but lust during a few day time span. I could see an I like you a lot and want to know you better in the feelings department but let's talk reality here, if you went to a destination wedding and your week long hookup started professing his undying love for you at the end of the week you'd be getting him the number of a good shrink, not your home address because that's a whole lot of insane right there. You don't conquer life long body insecurity issues in a night because you had mirror sex either. And the idea that you could restructure your company in the course of a short conference call is downright ridiculous. It's obvious that I have a soft spot for romance based on how much of it I read but I just wish some of it could be a bit more realistic with a halfway believable timeline. If you don't mind instalove it's a decent book, interesting characters and spicy scenes. If instalove makes you worry that teen girls checking out romances from the public library might be using this as a guideline for what real romantic emotions are like and that scares the hell out of you this one might be skippable. (I happen to fall in the latter category)

Would have been a 4 except for one thing.... **Spoiler Alert**
I really enjoyed this last installment in the Wedding Dare series. It was by far my favorite until.... I'll share later.

The groom's sister and his best man. Ok. She's crushed on him for years? Yes please! I love unrequited love stories and it didn't fail to deliver the chemistry. It was hot and sexy. This would have been one I reread over and over until... The Terrible Conflict Resolution. **Spoiler Alert**
She interrupts her brother's wedding reception to tell him she loves him? Oh, hell no! I was loving it until the moment she picked up the mic. I rolled my eyes and could barely finish, honestly, I didn't want to. That ruined the entire book. Selfish and ridiculous, IMHO.
