And let me tell you, this series is WOW! It is YA. The character starts the series around age 13 or 14 and you following to his 18th birthday. I really enjoyed this series and wish it was around when I was around those ages. It would have easily been a favorite! The characters are likable. The worldbuilding is immense and always growing but it's nice. It makes the world feel real. The writing is easy to absorb.

The plot develops nicely however there were times that I wish it'd move on a little faster. Some books early on just felt like they dragged a bit with the waiting for the truth to drop. Each book had it's own main plot along with progressing subplots. Plot holes didn't last long which was nice. The sending of the series was a nice happily ever after. I felt a little let down by it however I think that's just the influence from dark fantasy I read nowadays.

5 Stars! A.D. Lombardo tells a suspenseful and adventurous story, which is fast paced, in Keegan's Wrath. I didn't read the other books in the series, and I enjoyed this one very much even though. I read Keegan's Wrath during a long trip back, after just taking a look to the previous books. I do think they might be interconnected and it is not a stand alone, but I had a great time and didn't feel like that was an issue. I love a good world-building and this did not disappoint. Incredible characters. Although I just took a lot at the previous books in the series, I noticed that some details turned out in Keegan's Wrath to pull the whole story together. I will read A.D. Lombardo's books again. Hopefully with more time and from the beginning.

From the very beginning, The Katori Chronicles drew me in and kept me invested. The world building. The great characters and writing style. The relationships, not just between Kai and Rayna, but with all the different elements, people and ...it all fits and flows great.

In Book 5, it all comes together and wraps up nicely. I really love how Kai and Rayna have grown, not just with each other, but within themselves and in their core groups. They really came into their own and I have loved following their journey.

One thing I am very impressed with is how each book continued to get better. I was never bored or hurried, and always enjoyed the story. That is hard to do with any series.

Keegan's Wrath definitely wasn't lacking in twists and turns and oh man the action! 😂 This author can write! There are also a lot of good life lessons mixed in with this story which makes it great for any age. This is definitely a YA Fantasy that I would recommend and can even be read by older Middle Grade readers.

I sincerely appreciate the author and Blackberry Book Tours for introducing me to this epic fantasy series.  I have loved every book and enjoyed sharing in this author's creative and imaginative world. All opinions expressed herein are mine and mine alone.

I think these books get better and better. This is the final book in the Katori chronicles and I thought it ended really well.

Keegan is trying to bring the Katori race into power but Kai and his group want peace and for everyone to be able to live together. Keegan unites with an enemy of Kai's people and causes trouble and destruction in his mission to draw out Kai and get him to join him.

Kai has more pressing issues that eat at him in this adventure and he has to pull out all the stops to save his mother and prevent Keegan from completing his goal.

A lot happens in this final book, it's fast paced and full of action. A worthy ending to the series.
