a good book for starting to get introduced to past traumas and where they come from, but nothing else, in my opinion.

I can't decide between 3,5 and 4 stars. A good self-help book with actual, practical advice and, you know, stuff you can try. I think some people might find this approach very helpful. For me, well, I found some of it helpful, and I can use those parts, which is what - in my opinion - self-help books are good for. Take what you like and leave the rest, but at least consider it. Looking at your stuff from a different perspective is usually in itself quite useful.

I regretted postponing this book for so long. This is an outstanding book on psychology.

Although the things mentioned in the book are not totally new, i love the structure of this book, very clear, nicely structured, rich in information but at the same time very practical thanks to the examples, exercises and experiments.

I highly recommend this book to everyone who is dealing with difficult time, hard and tough emotions, trauma and so on

I truly believe that the most efficient and sustainable way to make the world a better place is by working on oneself, so we're more aware and more open hearted which leads to being more compassionate and kinder towards ourselves and others. By working on ourselves individually, we help each other grow.

Everything I read on this book, the tools it offers and the stories of personal growth from the author's patients just made so much sense to me and smoothly aligned and enhanced what I've been learning in my own journey in therapy (The Gestalt approach), but also the philosophy of yoga on personal growth.

It's a book I recommend to everyone; if you're already in therapy, it will enhance your journey, if you're not in therapy, it will help you understand and work on yourself (although I do recommend therapy to everyone). In any case, it will help you recognize your emotions and work with them. The basic idea is that no emotion is bad or prohibited, emotions should not be oppressed and hidden, but observed and accepted for what they are. This way, we unveil our patterns and we learn what they mean and thus, we learn how to diconstruct them and heal. And by working the very helpful triangle tool presented in this book (very easy to understand and use from day one), you get to rewire your brain into more helpful, growth promoting, better understanding ways.

Also, go follow the author on social media, she gives a lot of helpful advice and ideas.
