Sebastian becomes a bit too controlling in the third installment of the Play Me serial for my tastes. He turns into a smoother version of Christian Grey. I don't have a problem with alpha male characters normally, but when they start controlling when their girlfriends work/don't work, what they eat, etc etc it becomes too much.

I know that Aria and Sebastian's relationship is consensual, but Sebastian's arrogance is starting to wear thin on me. I know he cares for her, as evidenced by the chapters that we're in his head; I just wish he allowed different actions to show that care.

Aria continues to grow on me with each and every installment. ESPECIALLY in this one when she calls Sebastian out on his bullshit and refuses to be bulldozed by him. She's asking more for what SHE wants and what SHE needs. I heartily applaud her aplomb.

In the Sebastian and Aria grow even closer in the third installment of this series.

Sebastian takes Aria home after their intense evening and he takes care of her, and puts her to bed. He even stocks her fridge full of food bc he sees she has none. He really is a great guy. However, you learn Sebastian has a regret he lives with from his past and by the end of this novella you have a better idea what it is, but it's still not completely clear.

Aria goes to her parents house to accompany her sick sister, Lucy, to her treatment, along with her mother but is late and they already left. This leads to Aria to have an encounter with her father that leaves her completely shaken, though we don't know what transpired. we only know she runs to Sebastian to help her forget.

Again this installment ends mid scene, but it was a good ending bc it will leave you in suspense.

Thanks netgalley for a free book in exchange for a review. Well we learned in this one that everyone seems to be carrying their own secrets, and Sebastien and Aria further their relationship. The sex scenes are erotic and carry a romantic feel. We also get a tidbit from Ethan Frost and how Sebastien ties in with his story. Turning out to be a pretty great serial so far. Overall entertainment for s four stars.

In this installment, I really am starting to feel the connection between Aria and Sebastian. There was some really great build-up and development to their relationship. Also, there's a lot more mystery in this installment. Who is Janet???? I am loving this series!

Just when you thought there couldn't be any way to increase the pace, introduce a bunch new angles, and the story would start winding down, you get to part 3.

This one is my favourite so far. The other 2 were excellent, but this one takes it to a whole new level. I think I set a new record reading, I couldn't flip pages fast enough. In this installment the emotional involvement really takes off. We see a whole new dimension to the main characters, and get sucker punched right at the end. Right after Ethan Frost makes an appearance, and introduces a new twist in the story. This gets derailed by another great twist, but I look forward to reading more in the next part.

This series is exceptional.

So Sebastian is turning out to be a swoon worthy guy. Taking care of Aria the way that he did. We also get to see a smidge of insight into Aria's "family life" & by a smidge it was maybe a paragraph or so but, it made you think "wtf is going on there?" I should probably mention that there was some hot sexy times too ;)

This is the best installment of the series so far and I really enjoyed it. We find out more about Sebastian and Aria, they do more than sex, and I was glad to see them talking and eating, and stuff, and not just f.ing each other. Because sex isn't the only thing important in relationship or in a story, even if it is erotica or not. Plus other things happen and I'm happy that I didn't give up after the second one, that was a disappointment.

Play Me Hard is the third installment in the Play Me series. Play Me Hard picks up where Play Me Hot left off, so they should be read in order.

While there are some steamy scenes in Play Me Hard, this book is not nearly as erotic as Play Me Hot was. In this book we meet a new character named Ethan, who was one of Sebastian's best friends during the 10yrs that he spent outside of Vegas. We also begin to get a little more insight into what Sebastian did with the international charity and that he too has some baggage to deal with.

Although we don't see as much erotic content in this book, the idea of subdrop and subspace are discussed in some detail. This is a fabulous thing for those who are not familiar with the terms since it's explained from the POV of both Aria and Sebastian. During this novella, we see Sebastian take care of Aria after she begins to subdrop. As Aria and Sebastian begin to spend more time together, we see the intimacy between the two start to become closer.

Be prepared for a bit of a shocker and a cliffhanger at the end of this book. It will really build up the suspense for the fourth book in the series Play Me Real.
