This book was everything I'd expected of it and more. Scientifically rigorous, emotionally honest, and downright devastating at times, I was continually struck by every page of this book.

A hard read but super inspiring and eye opening about the way trauma affects people and different ways to cope with intense trauma. Not a fix all to problems but a great place to start in order to rebuild your mental health.
