Great book. It's technical with lots of analogies that make it easy to read. It's the science of why and how we sleep, how to sleep better, and how it affects our health, memory, longevity, and attitudes of life.
I think that all psych and medical providers and clinics should include quality and quantity of sleep questions in their intake questions.

Useful insights for individuals and well-founded research regarding the importance of sleep for a more kind and just society. Wish more school boards/administrators and business leaders would read this book.

really important read and very interesting. took off one star for reductive discussion of autism and some pretty goofy "futuristic" technology proposals at the end, including endorsing self-driving cars which... well...

I implore everyone I know to read this book (well and people I don't know either). If you don't have time for it, check out the shorter podcast interview with Joe Rogan, episode 1109 when Matthew Walker was the guest. This could be life changing for many people.

Update: when I originally wrote this Joe Rogan wasn't as polarizing as he is now. I still recommend episode 1109 because of what Matthew Walker has to say.

Najciekawsza i prawdopodobnie najważniejsza książka, jaką przeczytałem.
