Honestly I didn't think that I would end up liking, forgiving, or even finding any redemption in Savannah so I had my doubts going into this book. That being said the author has done a wonderful job of bringing these characters to life and letting me see another side of Savannah that I normally would have overlooked because let's face it we are all somewhat judgmental jerks. In the first book Savannah seemed to come off as a piece of work that we all ended up not liking in some way, but now after reading this story I ended up sympathizing with her and even understanding her actions to an extent. Am I still happy about what happened with Jacob and Kallie? no, but I swear Beau helped ease some of my anger and help me see Savannah differently. The back and forth between Beau and Savannah had me screaming at my kindle wanting them to confess their love for each other so when it happened I felt so much happiness. This book let's us in on a friends to lover romance that they have loved each other forever but fate and timing has always been off and now will they get their chance or will things and hatred drive Savannah away for good? I was glad I was wrong about Savannah and that things ended they way they did, but poor Ethan. Ethan's story is going to wreck us but in a good way. It takes talent for an author to make a hated character find not only redemption but become extremely likeable and this author has done it and I'm glad we all get/give second chances.

4.5⭐️ This was so sweet !

✨️Always been you!
✨️Mutual pining
✨️single mother
✨️childhood best friends
✨️Marriage of convenience
✨️bit of a thriller as well!

You don't see a lot of Savannah being a mom full time, but it's her story of self forgiveness, and that was the best thing!

I felt bad for Savannah, being labelled such horrid things! and Beau..ahh.. SIMP KING!! He's always loved her !!

I loved how Callie x Savannah put aside the past and become friends..and co parents for Ethan (his story is next!!)

His dad is the biggest ick ever!

This series just keeps getting better! Southern Storm brings us Savannah and Beau's story. I'll admit I wasn't sure I wanted a story for Savannah after all she had done. I totally changed my mind however after reading all she has no gone thru and does go thru in this book because of her actions. It is heartbreaking and you just want to give her a hug! Beau is a perfect gentle alpha and there couldn't be a better match for Savannah. Another great addition to this series and I look forward to more!

This is the third one the in the southern storm series. So far I have absolutely loved this series. I have been patiently waiting for this one as it is Beau and Savannah's story. Savannah has not had an easy life in this town. She got pregnant at an early age and someone else took responsibility for the child other than the person that should was the father. Beau finds out the wrong way about who the father really is and is not the least bit happy about things. But that doesn't change how he feels about Savannah. But he doesn't know how to tell Savannah how he feels.
Things are tense from that point on between all involved. And then things start happening to Savannah and things that she owns. Basically someone is trying to run her out of town. But Beau will do whatever it takes to keep her right there. But his plan is mind blowing. Will Savannah go along with it? Will these two finally tell each other how they feel? What will happen between these two? I patiently waited for this one and was not the least disappointed. I loved Beau and Savannah. It was a great story. The Southern series and amazing and this was a wonderful addition to the series.

Book three in the series has all the intensity and frustration as well as the heartache and some 'awwww' moments. You may not like Savannah much, if you've read book one (Southern Chance) but now we get her side of the story, and trust me, she gets her redemption. While this can be read as a stand alone (each book features a different couple,) I would highly suggest you read Southern Chance first, as her character is introduced and we get the start of her and Beau's (the Hero) story. Book two (Southern Comfort) doesn't feature the two characters much (and wouldn't necessarily need to be read to prior, but it ends with the beginning of this book. This a beautiful story, even if you want to grind your teeth at all the junk that goes on. It's a bit of a bully romance, though the Hero is not the bully, but quite literally, the HERO. Savannah is a strong woman, but there are cracks in her armor. Beau is a good, kind man, who will do anything to help his best friend... even after he finds out she's been lying to him for years. Well written and reads easily. Alternates POVs. There is some sexual content. Some of the contents are a bit disturbing to hear, though not what I would call dark. This is definitely a tension filled read, but a good read at that.

This book was not what I expected after the way Southern Comfort ended. There was so much unsaid between Beau and Savannah and I didn’t know how that would play out after Beau’s reaction to Savannah’s biggest secret.

I was surprised at how quickly Beau came to terms with everything. He learned from Jacob and Kallie’s mistakes and didn’t let more than a few hours pass before showing up at Savannah’s for answers. I loved Beau and Savannah’s relationship. They were both so in love with each other but so afraid to cross the line. They missed out on so much time together as a couple, but made up for it by being so entwined in each other’s lives.

Savannah and Beau went through a lot in this book. It seemed like every time Savannah thought there was nothing left to be taken from her, something else happened. She was so strong to put up with the hateful words and glares of the town for her son and I loved that Beau stood by her. Beau went through some of his own turmoil in this book. His eyes were opened to the level of hurt Savannah endured as well as the corruption of his father.

Beau and Savannah’s marriage was not very fake. I loved that it finally brought them to the breaking point and they were able to confess all their feelings they’d kept bottled up. The level of pining they both suffered through was pretty epic.

I loved Beau and Savannah. This book ended with a lot of healing for the community and it was great to see the villains get what was coming to them.
