This one broke my heart! HUSH!

I wasn’t sure about this one but I think I cried for the last 20% of the book. Cowboy was so bright and funny. Hush broke my heart. Sia is the most outspoken female main character in this series so far. Ky PISSED ME OFF in this book. 5 stars! Super emotional but I loved it!

This was just a so-so read for me. Nothing special nor memorable really happened that I can think of. I didn't really feel connected with the characters either.

I guess it's just one of those its-not-you-its-me situations.

Oh well. Moving on.

Once again, I'm completely blown away. It's hard to put together my feelings on this series. Each book brings out more on a character. Every time I'm a little hesitant but then I'm left speechless. So good!

I've been intrigued by Cowboy and Hush's relationship since they first showed up in the series. They have such a tight bond/friendship. I loved Sia when she showed up Ky's book. Sia and Hush are really two broken people because of their past. This was yet another emotional book for me. I found myself yet again crying over these characters and how they were treated in their pasts. It's such a great story though.

Oh and I can't forget to mention that I loved the bonus chapter with Crow!

“What is love anyway? It is never simple, and never plays by exactly the same rules as for other people who are in love also."

"From the minute we met you, I could see in you what I see in him every day... loneliness."

I love the Hades Hangmen series. It is so much more than just a Biker/Dark Romance. I have read many books in these genres, but Tillie Cole is one of the few authors that can elevate her stories to a higher level. She is also one of the few authors whose book blurbs I don't have to read to decide if I want to read the book. After all the amazing previous books in this series, I had very high expectations for Crux Untamed. The fact that it was a Menage (MFM), had me even more excited. I didn't doubt for a second that Tillie would come up with a great story for Hush, Cowboy and Sia.

"I realized that I'd wanted this. Wanted Hush as much as I wanted Cowboy since the first time I met them. It didn't make sense. Nothing about this made sense, about how we three meshed and melded into one organic whole."

While Cowboy was free spirited, Hush was very closed off and didn't let anyone besides Cowboy really into his life. Sia was strong and wanted to show to the world she was doing okay. However, these three were broken, two more than the other. I couldn't contain my tears when I read where Hush came from and what he had been through in the past. It was so heartbreaking and made me very angry. Sia, also didn't have the easiest past and was still trying to find a way to fully move on from the horrific events she'd been through. Cowboy, was a very important factor in having these two broken individuals come together and see that they weren't that different from one another. I loved these three together so much. It was just the perfect balance of personalities, and they completed each other.

"Four hands to touch me, four arms to hold me... two hearts to make love to me and chase away the dark."

Like in every Hades Hangmen book you'll get enough action, HOT sex scenes (VERY hot), and very emotional moments that will have you crying. Crux Untamed is another amazing addition to one of my favorite series, and I am really looking forward to what Tillie has in store for us next with Darkness Embraced which is Tanner's Story. The only reason I didn't give this book a full 5 star is because I felt like Cowboy sometimes didn't play as an important role as Hush and Sia, and I wanted to shake Hush and tell him that he is amazing and deserves all the best in the world. Lovers of this series will not be disappointed with this book!

Crux Untamed is book 6 of the Hades Hangmen series. I loved this book but I feel like Sia, Hush and Cowboy deserved a little more.

It seemed like all Cowboys time and energy went into Hush and Sia. Who takes care of him? I know as much as the man plays it off with winks and smiles, he has feelings, emotions and a past too. I feel like I didn’t really get to know him on the same level as the other two. He literally got kidnapped with Sia and everything about him just got swept under the rug. Where is his healing and path to forgiveness? I want to know more about him, his past, and his depth. I just wanted to know him.

We got all the gory details of Sia and Hush’s life and they were both tragic. I hate what they both went through but I’m glad they all three found each other. The trust, vulnerability and the openness between them took awhile to come around. There was an emotional depth their but I feel like they deserved more.

I feel like Tillie missed an opportunity to not give Cowboy and Hush a deeper bond. It was there, you could feel it in the works but it never quite reached its full potential. I feel like there should of been more between the two of them. You could just feel it sizzling and I kept waiting on them to just be more but it never happened. I’m not saying they should of been bumping but I think they should of been more loving towards each other; holding each other, kissing, I don’t know just more.

Crow, I love his character, good man. Maybe we will get more of him as the series continues. Titus got what he deserved but I feel like Styx should of let the two Cajun brothers have a go at him before shooting him. He got off too easy.

It was nice to see the diablos helping our Hangmen first with Phebe, then to get Cowboy and Sia back.

I was sad we didn’t get as much from the MC club in this book. These three are away from the clubhouse for the majority of the story. I missed all my favs.

I did however love when Madds opened up to Sia at Lilah’s house. When she was talking about being with both Cowboy and Hush and how everyone would react to the news. I could feel Maddie’s growth in that moment. She may be reserved, but she articulates at the precise moment that she’s needed.

The ending of the book was so bittersweet. Hush’s grandmother is such a precious soul. I’m glad he finally got to lay his parents to rest together. It was such an emotionally beautiful moment. The ride the club organized in honor of his parents just made me love them all more.

This book was shorter than the ones before it, I wish it had of been longer because I really did enjoy it. I wasn’t ready for Sia’s, Cowboy’s and Hush’s story to be over. I feel like a little more would of gone a long way.

Also, in regards to Viking, I think the brother is bisexual. He is always messing with everyone else about it. I love the fun Cowboy has had with him about it. The whole pineapple thing from the other book was hilarious.

I will make this review short. This book is going to be one of the top in the series for me. I didn’t think I’d care about Sia, Cowboy and Hush, but the moment Sia slapped Ky in front of all the Hangmen members at church, I fell for that woman! I loved the new issues brought forward in this book. It made me feel so many things. I really appreciated all of the characters and it felt like a fresh, new story with the comfort of home. I loved, loved, loved this book!

First Impressions
Crux Untamed is the 6th book in the "Hades Hangmen" series. I managed to download this one and the next novella before the books were deleted. Hopefully, I can find the 7th, I think I saw my library carrying it so hopefully I will be able to get my hands on that one. But Crux Untamed was such an amazing story, I will say that I think this one is my favorite of the series and its not even a contest. As much as I love the previous books, there was something about this one that just melted my heart and struck on a deep level. Tillie Cole is an author that is unmatched and the way that she just pulls you in with her fascinating characters and not one of her books are like the other which is what I really admire her for. (I will never understand the hate, because this book was beautifully tackled and melted my heart.

First Line
I ran down the hallway.

Summary
Elysia Willis has always craved the quiet type of life. When she meets the wrong man and ends up in his snares, her brothers finds her a safe haven away from him. But she knows how dangerous the cartel is and that he will never stop looking for her. When danger to her resurfaces, she is to be protected by two of her brother's men in the MC....Hush and Cowboy. These two are a team deal, they tend to share just about everything including women. Both Cowboy and Hush are intrigued by Sia. There is a connection that is slowly building between them. But each of them have a painful past but if they learn to trust in each other, they might just be able to form a bond that nothing can tear apart if they trust in each other and that love forming....

What I Loved
What can I say about this one here....this book was just epic. It had me in all of my feels and I love how this author really tugs you so endearingly into the story. I was all in with my heart with this story. I never know how authors will handle a menage romance, but the way that this one was dealt I really was so fascinated in seeing what these three built together and how the author handled their relationship was perfection. It was so well developed that we see a strong focus between all three individuals and it was beautiful. There are some harsh issues that are tackled here, especially issues of racism and bigotry that are in this story. But we also see change and personal growth and learning to rise above your circumstances to become a better person and learn the right way to look at others. There was so much intense emotion packed in this story, this is probably the most intense on a emotional level than I have seen with this author. I also was so intrigued with the brother sister relationship. These two have so much work and its handled very well in this story. The forbidden theme to the story is pretty intense as the brother basically forbids Cowboy and Hush to be involved with this sister and the way it gets resolved in the end ....strikes deep.

If you are a fan of the series or this author, I highly recommend this one here. A captivating story that pulled me in so quickly.

What I Struggled With
Nothing. Some of the racism talk is going to be difficult for some readers, so just be mentally prepared for seeing it in the story as this story tackles some difficult topics some readers aren't used to see in a story.

Overall View
Crux Untamed is a riveting story that will pull you in immediately, a story of deep intimacy, facing up to the scars of the past and learning to embrace love in the right time and the values of trust in a relationship.

Favorite Quote(s)
Don’t worry, cher, we’ll wear Hush down together. Get him seeing things our way. His walls are high, but I reckon we can smash through them if we try hard enough.

No selfishness. No jealousy. Just love.

Love doesn't see color. Only pure hearts.

This was more like 3.5-4. It was my first time reading a why choose kind of book and I liked reading about they’re relationship together.
I loved cowboy and hush’s relationship and the bond they had was amazing, then reading about they’re past and hush’s past was well written and so sad to get through.
Sia’s attitude was just hilarious and I loved the fire and the banter she had. Loved how she stood up for what she wanted even to her brother and went for it with cowboy and hush.
Overall a good book just wasn’t my favorite in the series.
