Jasper is a sweetheart and you can’t hjelp but to feel for him. A big man with at times crippling anxiety is bound to tug at some heartstrings. I like Sloane. I like her humor.
But I feel like something is missing from this story, or maybe there was too much. For probably 70% of this book almost every chapter starts the same way. An inner monologue telling us how good looking the other is and that they can’t possibly feel the same. The repetitive writing pulls me out of the story and makes this book feel long, even though it’s easy reading. And I don’t connect as much emotionally. Which is a shame because it is actually a good story.

Elsie how do you do it?! Perfect man, after perfect man! I couldn’t put this book down devoured it in within 24 hours.

Jasper and Sloane are SOULMATES. 18 years of friendship, but with two sides of secretly loving each other also. This book has left me speechless.

Jasper has always been in Sloane’s corner and will always be there. He is her protective, possessive, and FILTHY knight in shining armor. Sloane has been treated like crap and Jasper has had enough of it. (And I am here for it) Literally right away in the book when he tells off Woodcock had me falling for Jasper. It is always the quite and shy guys that turn out to be filthy. The things Jasper said had be blushing! His tattoo?! Didn’t see that coming but it melted my heart.

Sloane holds Jasper story close to her heart and locked away for no one to find. These two have always been each others rocks and they just grow with each other so much! Sloane learns how to stands up for herself to the ones that treat her like she’s just a porcelain ballerina that will break. Her development throughout the book is amazing!

These two were so blind to each others love. But now they are blooming with each other.
